Leann's POV:
"Welcome Senior class of 2013! Well the party isn't over just yet, but we do have to make a couple of announcements. Would the following students please come up to the stage when your name is called."
"Sherri."
"Christine."
"Lily."
"Pam."
"Abigail."
"Leann."
"Bryan."
"Cody."
"Paul."
"Chris."
"Shane."
"And Austin."
We all walked up on the stage and stood their as the bright stage light shined down on us. I didn't know that Bryan wanted to be prom king. Anyways, the tension was rising as the principal began to announce prom king.
"And 2013's Senior Prom King, is......" she hesitated for a moment, "Bryan Andrews!"
Bryan then walked up to the podium as he then placed the crown on his head.
"Um, this is such an honor being here tonight on this stage being announced as prom king. I would like to thank my friends, Elka, Caitlin, Zack, and Zayn for helping me adjust to moving to a new school and for being there whenever I needed them. But mainly, I'm here to thank my girlfriend, Leann, for being there for me through thick and thin. She stood by me, and she never left my side. Thank you for loving me, without you, I wouldn't be here on this stage today. Thank you once again for voting for me."
Everyone clapped as Bryan walked back to his spot on stage. The other guys had left the stage when he was called. I stood next to Sherri and Pam as I cried after hearing Bryan's speech.
"And now, the moment who have all been waiting for. 2013's Prom Queen is..." the principal hesitated. Sherri held onto my hand as a long silence formed in the auditorium.
"Leann Carter!"
I couldn't believe it. I smiled as I walked over towards the podium. I placed the tirara on my head as I began to speak.
"Um, hi? I would like to thank everyone who voted for me and who gave me the opportunity to be here on this stage. I never thought that any of this would happen to me. Me, the shy girl, who everyone never really noticed, winning prom queen. Beginning high school was a new change for all of us here. It was the beginning of this chapter of our lives. As a freshman, I never really expected my life to turn out the way it is now. People could be pretty mean sometimes. We all have some kind of experience in our lives when someone tried to tear you down piece by piece. But we all managed to get through it. And people do change. Like my new friend, Sherri. She really chaged and I am glad that she will now be a part of my life. Moving on, I never really got over the pain and I never really understood what it really meant to be happy. Until last year, I met Bryan, my boyfriend. He is the only one who made me feel like I belong in this world. He changed me, in a good way. I am where I am today because of him. I don't really have a lot of confidence to be standing on this stage infront of everyone I have known since day one, but I just have to come out and say it all. I would like to thank my best friends, Elka and Caitlin for being for me whenever I needed them. And I would like to thank my teachers for teaching me right from wrong. But mainly, I would like to thank Bryan for being there for me. Remember when I said, 'Untill the End of Time', I really meant it. And I really mean it now. Thank you."
I cried as everyone clapped. Elka and Caitlin cried as I smiled at them. I walked over towards Bryan and he pulled me into a long kiss. Everyone still clapping made me feel all warm inside.
"Give it up for 2013's Prom King and Queen!" the principal exclaimed as Bryan and I pulled away from the kiss.
"Do you promise" he asked me.
"I promise." I hesitated, "Until the End of Time."
Bryan's POV:
After we walked off the stage, my confidence level was through the roof. I was ready to propose, I just had to find the perfect chance to. As Leann talked to Elka and Caitlin, I snuck away to the DJ booth and I requested a song.
"Can you play this song for me? It's for my..... girlfriend." I asked him.
"Anything for love." he replied. "I will play it in a littlie bit, I promise."
I walked back towards Leann and we all danced until my song played.
"Congrats guys!" they both said.
"Thanks guys!" Leann and I both replied.
I decided that I would tell Elka and Caitlin what I was soon about to ask Leann. I told Leann to go and socialize while I talked to Elka and Caitlin.
"What did you want to tell us?" Caitlin asked me.
"Um, well.. I am going to..."
"YOUR BREAKING UP WITH HER?!" Elka interupted me.
"No Elka, I'm going to propose to her. I requested a song for the DJ to play in a couple of minutes."
"NO WAY!" They both cheered.
"Yes, the song is about to play, wish me luck."
"Good luck!" they shouted as I walked over towards Leann.
"This song goes out to that special someone. It's time to 'slow' things down a bit."
I grabbed Leann's hands. "Care to dance?" I asked her.
"Don't mind if I do." she replied.

Leann's POV:
I put my hands around her waist and her arms rested on my shoulders. We danced to the song as I rested my nose on her's. I looked at him to see him smiling. I smiled back at him as we continued to dance. He spun me around and I began to laugh as he dipped my body towards the ground and then we began to dance again. He pulled away from my waist as he let a couple of tears escape from his eyes.
"What's wrong?" I asked him.
"Nothing is wrong. Everything is perfect."
"Then why are you crying?"
He hesitated as he grabbed my hands.
"I can look into your eyes and I can easily see myself reflected back. That doesn't mean much to some people, but to me it's everything. It means I see myself in you; a part of you that I don't ever want to let go of. Being in the same room as you just makes my heart buzz and beat with excitement. I lose my breath; my voice is whisked away just by the essence of every word that brushes past your lips. When we lock eyes, I can feel a jolt go straight into me, past my physical being. It's overwhelming and it belongs to you. From the minute I layed my eyes on you, I knew that you would be the one. I still remember the first time we met, our first kiss, I remember everything. I remember going to Vermont to go skiing last winter. I remember your 18th birthday at the beginning of senior year when I shoved your face in your cake. I remember every detail. I remember hearing you say to me 'I love you' for the first time. Remember when we promised eachother last year to never leave eachother. I will never leave you, Leann. Just like we promised. I want to be with you Leann, until the end of time." I hesitated as I went down on my knee. She put her right hand over her mouth as pulled out the tiny box. I opened it as I asked her, "Will you marry me?"
She started to cry as she replied, "Yes, I do!"
I smiled as I slipped the ring onto her left ring finger. I stood up as I pulled her into a long, passionate kiss.
