Leann's POV:
Well a year and a half went by and it's the end of our senior year. Time had gone by so fast. It feels like yesterday that I first met Bryan and went on our first date together. Or even when we shared our first kiss. The past year and a half was pretty decent. Since my sister is diagnosed with cancer, my parents are laying out tons of money towards treatment so I had to get a job to support my family at Forever 21 at the mall. On the bright side, my foot recovered quickly. Bryan and I began to have a stronger bond keeping us together. I haven't had a dream since last year. It is all just black darkness. No images, no sounds, just sleep. I'm okay with that but I miss having that feeling of knowing what will happen. I'm on my own now to figure things out, like life is supposed to be. I hated that life though, but it was the way things were supposed to be.
I looked out my window after school and saw my elderly neighbors across the street welcoming their children and their grandchildren into their home. I smiled as I saw the two little girls holding a handful of dolls in their arms. Still smiling I waved slowly at them. The two didn't see me. I turned towards my clock, it was 5:30. I then turned around towards the window again seeing one of the girls smile at me. I smiled back at her as she walked into her grandparent's house. The other hesitated and ran into the house aswell. Hours went by and the sun was setting. I sat on my bed on my computer messaging Bryan on Facebook as I also looked for the two little girls that I saw earlier. They both had long dark brown hair and bright blue eyes. I guess they were twins. They looked exactly like me. Every detail in their tiny little faces. They were like little clones of me. I looked out my window seeing the door to their grandparent's house open. The mother and father opened the door as the two girls ran out the door. The parents went to start the car as the two girls looked up at my window. One of the girls went into the car but the other one walked the other way towrads my house. I was shocked seeing this happen. I told Bryan that I would be right back as I made my way down stairs.
I opened the door seeing the little girl with a Barbie doll in her arms. She looked at me with her bright blue eyes smiling from ear to ear. I smiled back confused about what was going on.
"Hello, you must be Maggy and Luke's granddaughter. What is your name?"
"Marie." she replied softly.
"That's my middle name." I replied shocked. "Why are you here? Shouldn't you be with your sister and your parents?"
"I wanted to give you something. My mummy told me to give it to someone special. I saw you in your window and you reminded me of my mum." she handed me the Barbie doll as I knelt down to recieve it from her. "You can't lose it. It's very special. I will come back for it when I'm older to see if you still have it. Maybe you might pass it down to your daughter, just like my mum did to me." She hugged me as a tear escaped from my eye.
"Thank you, Marie." I replied.
"Why are you crying?" she asked me with her adorable British accent.
"Oh, nothing, you look a lot like me."
"That's what my mummy said to me about you."
I was shocked hearing this from her. I don't even know their grandparents that well and I have never seen their children's family. Who could her mother be?
"Who is your mom?" I asked her.
"Martha Andrews."
My eyes almost popped out of my head. Martha Andrews. Isn't Bryan's last name Andrews? She looks like him but not exactly like him. Trying to stop overthinking the situation I reached for a piece of paper and a pencil and wrote down my cell phone number.
"I want to give this to you. So you can talk to me, so I can know more about you, oh and I have a request, ask your mom about Bryan. If she knows him, tell her that he misses her and to call this number."
She smiled as I handed her the number. Their car horn honked as she waved me goodbye as she ran to her mom's car. When she got their I waved to the car. The window to the driver's set was rolled down. A woman with bright blue eyes and light brown hair looked at me standing at me door.
She smiled at me and immediately, I saw Bryan's face. Her smile, her cheek bones, everything was exact. I tried to wake myself up from what I thought was a dream and the woman was still their, smiling right at me. I waved to her as she waved back driving down the street. I closed my door as I looked down at the doll that Marie had given me. She had long brown hair and fair skin. Her eyes were a shade of bright, neon blue. She wore dark blue skinny jeans and a gray sweatshirt. I looked down at her shoes and they were white and red converse sneakers.
