Mrs. Andrew's POV:
"What did he tell you?" I replied shocked that he still remembered after about 6 or 7 years.
"He said that he was abused. I'm sorry if I'm making you feel uncomfortable but that question has always been on my mind. Why?"
My past was coming back to me. When I married Calvin, he used to go out most of the time late at night to party and get drunk with his friends. I usually was tagged along with him. He took me to night clubs were we got drunk all of the time and walked home wasted as ever. Bryan was home with Nancy while we were gone at the house. When we walked in the door, Nancy had already gone to sleep and Bryan was watching television in his room. I had no control over my actions and I barged into Bryan's room cursing at him and beating him with my shoes. He screamed in pain as my 3" heel was pressed into his backside. He cried as I kept swinging. I began to lose my vision and I dropped the shoe on the floor. Thinking that he grabbed it from my hand I charged at him wrestling him for it. He screamed as he shouted, "I DIDN'T TAKE IT MOM! MOM STOP PLEASE! NANCY! HELP ME! SOMEONE!"
I began to come back to reality hearing Leann through the phone.
"Mrs. Andrews, are you alright? Hello? Mrs. Andrews? Hello?"
I was startled by her. I replied, "OH! Hi, sorry, ummm well, my husband had gotten me into alcohol when Bryan was about 12 years old. He told the bartender to put the strongest he had into my glass so we could have the best time ever at the night club. When we got home, I couldn't control myself because the alcohol had taken control over my actions. Bryan never did anything wrong, it was all Calvin's fault that he was taken away from us. When he was taken away from us, Calvin and I argued every night before bed. I cursed him off knowing that it is all our fault that Bryan had to live with Nancy for the rest of his life. Calvin left me home one night to go to party at a club and never came back for me. I was left alone with no one. I didn't even know why I let him take me to the clubs. In fact, Bryan's father.. hasn't talked to mw since. I think he is in rehab. But he should be out soon. I have to go to court again this week to testify and try to get Bryan back. I haven't touched alchol in 7 years. I miss Bryan so badly."
Leann's POV:
Hearing this made me sob. Bryan has no idea about any of this. Only the abuse part. I felt bad for her. Her husband tricked her into drinking the strongest they had at the clubs and basically made her abuse Bryan. I wish I could slap him so badly. You don't treat a woman like that. In a way, he kind of abused Bryan's mom.
"He misses you too. But I have something planned to get you guys together again. Don't worry, I am going to bring you two together again. Oh and if you need a babysitter for the twins, I'm always available."
"Thank you Leann, in fact, I do need a babysitter. My parents are going down on vacation for the whole summer and I have had trouble paying the bills at home. I found job in town. Are you free during the summer from 1 PM to 11 PM?"
"Yes I am, and I could introduce the girls to Bryan and they could finally meet their brother. How old are they?"
"The twins are 6 years old. It got lonely without Bryan, so we decided to have another kid, but it turns out that I had twins. Crystal and Marie."
"I'm looking foward to meeting them. I'm not going to tell Bryan anything so that way, I could suprise him for once." I laughed.
We had said our goodbyes and the call ended. It was 7:00. Bryan was picking me up at 8! I went into panic mode as I trashed my closet looking for something to where. I wore my galaxy dress and my black vans. I kept the infinity necklace on, as always, and curled my hair supper quickly. I slipped a infinity bangle on my wrist and applied some lip balm. I touched up my make up and I waited on my bed for Bryan to get to my house.
I went on Instagram and scrolled through my newsfeed and saw a picture of Caitlin and Elka on a double date with Zack and Zayn at Bowler City. Only if we could have a triple date some time. I heard my door bell ring and I ran down the stairs. I opened the front door to see Bryan with his eyes widened and his mouth open. I started to laugh as he pretended to drool. I told my mom that I would be home at least by midnight and we left the house.
