Your POV

My hands slowly fell off the keys and onto my lap. Everyone was staring at me, there mouths agape. I must've made a forbidden mistake, or maybe my underwear were visible while I was playing. Maybe I was nervous sweating so much that my shirt was drenched! There are so many possible mistakes I could've made.

I, again, made a dash to my room, slamming the door behind me. I can't believe this is happening, in front Arima of all people! I plopped down on my fluffy, (F/C) bed. Takeshi was probably really embarrassed now. He said I was really good, but I failed. I always end up failing, one way or the other.

All this doubt is giving me a headache, but I can't stop! I heard a loud knock on the door that worsened the pang in my head. It was probably Takeshi, and he has the patience of an angry bull. I pulled the (F/C) comforter over my head and the door creaked open. I heard footsteps walk toward the bed and something heavy fell on my foot. He sat on my it.

"Ouch!" I half-yelled, flailing my leg around. He stood up and pulled the covers completely off my perfectly made bed, revealing me.

"Come on, (Y/N)! It was great!" I bolted upright.

"Then why were you all staring at me like that?!"

"We didn't know what to say or do!" Our voices were raised, most likely disturbing every one on the street.

"You made me fee-" The throb in my head got so bad, I staggered a little and fell back onto my bed. He seemed to take notice of this and his expression softened. He sat down next to me and I laid my head on his open lap.

"I guess you still have a fever," said he, softly as he stroked my hair. The room was quiet until we heard a breathtaking sound. A sound so beautiful, it resembled a cherry blossom tree. It was Arima. It had to be Arima.

The sound was lulling me to sleep, but it stopped and so did my sleepy state. My headache etched its way back into my head and my eyes fluttered closed. I heard footsteps.

"Takashi? Is (Y/N) alright?"  I think Mom asked.

"I think she still has a fever," said Takashi, in a whisper.

"Oh. That's a shame. I'll break the news to everyone. Takashi? Can you put her to bed?" Mom asked, staring at the removed blankets. I could feel Takashi nod his head and the door closed softly.

"Well, (Y/N), get into bed," he said, strictly yet softly. I shook my head, shutting my eyes harder. He sighed and stood up, holding me bridal style. He laid me onto the soft bed. He slipped off my converses so I'd be more comfortable and put the velvety comforter over me.

I opened my eyes just long enough to see Takashi turn the lights off and close the door behind him, before I was engulfed in sleep.
