Your POV
As we walked into Sawabe's house, I was blown away. Although it's right next to Arima's, the inside of her house tops Arima's 100-1 (No offense to Arima). "Oi! (Y/N)! This way!" She said, catching my attention with the raise of her voice.
I quickly followed after the athletically fit girl as she maneuvered her way around the house. We finally made our way into a room which I assumed to be Sawabe's. "Well, take it in (Y/N). This is my room," Sawabe confirmed my suspicions. I looked around, taking in the bare room. The only real signs of anyone living in it were the few books on the floor by the neat shelf and the couple of baseball posters on the wall.
"Sawabe-sa-"
"Come on, (Y/N)! No need for formalities! Just call me Tsubaki," she said with an easygoing grin. I took a deep breath and continued.
"Tsubaki. Are you sure you really use this room?" My question echoed off the mostly bare walls.
"Well, of course," Tsubaki answered my question with a... well... questioning look. "Why?"
"I don't know. It's just so clean." At this, she started laughing so hard I was afraid she was going to have a heart attack.
"Oh, (Y/N)! Have you ever heard of cleaning before? Wow... I cleaned my room yesterday and everything has a place so there was no need for anything to clutter it up. As for those books, well I got kinda bored waiting for you." At this explanation, I felt my cheek heat up. I thought her parents never bought things for her and I was beginning to pity her. But, this was the obvious answer, so why did my mind change it to something so serious?
"Oh, of course," I said breaking into a weak nervous laugh.
"Ah, lighten up! Drop your stuff anywhere, I don't really care. Then we can do something fun, like ride bikes or go for a run or..." Her list of suggestions went on and on, most of them involving exercise, but after placing my bag by her bed we went outside to ride bikes.
We rode out onto the side walk between Tsubaki and her other neighbor's (besides Arima) house. Then a nice white SUV parked in front of the house. "Mom!" Tsubaki exclaimed. At the identification of the person, my body suddenly froze. I just had to keep reminding myself that Moms were great people and not... like mine.
"Hello girls!" Tsubaki's mother said as she strutted up to us. She was a gorgeous women. Her long brown hair glowed and you could almost see how soft it was. Her eyes were a deeper shade of brown than her hair and resembled a doe's. "You must be (Y/N)!" she directed her speech towards me. "I've heard so much about you from so many different people." The way she said the word 'different' made me feel so important, but also triggered the question, 'What did they say?'
"We're gonna go ride our bikes, Mom!" Tsubaki said as she began pedaling off without me.
"G-goodbye Sawabe-san!" I called out to Tsubaki's mother as I struggled to catch up with Tsubaki herself.

After Tsubaki and I got back, ate our delicious dinner, and prepared for 'bed', Tsubaki brought up a topic I considered sacred.
"So, (Y/N)-chan. Who do you like?" she asked with a suggestive smirk.
"Wh-what?"
"Ah, like, who do you love? Who are you smitten with? Who do you want to date? Who do you want to kiss? Who do you want to have-"
"Okay! I get it!" I said before her suggestions could get too risque.
"Okay, then answer my question! Who do you like?"
As a high school girl, I gave the answer that made the most sense to me and was quite true up until now. "I don't really know."
The look on Tsubaki's face was one of pure disappointment. "Come on! I'll tell you who I like!" As soon as those words left her mouth, I could tell she regretted it.
"Oh, really?"
"Y-yeah. Yeah! Why... why not?" Her voice was cracking in a very nervous manner.
"Okay. Go on then!" This was the most energized I'd felt the entire time I was here, and we were supposed to be sleeping.
"Um... H-his name starts with a... K and ends with an I." At that moment everything clicked. Tsubaki likes Arima. Tsubaki loves Arima. Tsubaki was smitten with Arima. Tsubaki wanted to date Arima. Tsubaki wanted to kiss Arima. Tsubaki wanted to do... unspeakable things with... Kousei Arima. "So... what about you?" Her voice was now barely above a whisper.
"I'm not sure you've met him... but his name is...
"Takeshi Aiza."
Tsubaki loved Arima, and who was I to get in the way of that?

And I'm sorry for anything off of the story because in a few months (I think) it will have been an entire year since I watched YLIA. Sorry, Reader-sama!
I love you guys! Bye, bye!
