Lovell threw himself into his car and slammed the door so damn hard the car shook. He didn't hesitate for the car behind him to park, he swerved, slammed on the gas and skidded around to the car park exit, cigarette still in his mouth. He felt angry, alone, stressed and... A car accident would have been welcomed with open arms. But no, Lovell carried on driving. He shouted song lyrics at the top of his voice and screamed "I love you" even louder. He had never understood what it meant to loose everything and give up entirely.

He crashed right in to his wheely-bin and everything went flying. He jumped straight out of the car and unlocked the door to Carter's house as he still had the keys. Why had he let the most important person in his life do this to himself? How could he have watched him disintegrate before his eyes. He had to let his anger out, punching the wall was a childish act that wouldn't solve any problems.
