"You wait out here, we'll be back...in a few minutes." Roy stated, before walking in, along with Morton.

You sat on the steps of the entrance, wondering why you'd agreed to come at all. You knew the two were up to no good, and somehow you'd began to get a bad feeling about this.

You then heard an alarm ring, getting you startled. You looked around quickly, before noticing Morton and Roy crashing through the glass entrance.

"Have this!" Roy yelled, before tossing you a heavy sack. You watched as they ran to the back, before glancing down at the sack. You felt it, and then it hit you.

It was a money sack. And it was filled with tons of golden coins.

But as you threw it forward, realizing what Roy and Morton had done, you noticed it landed at someone's feet. A blue Shy Guy, who seemed to be wearing a blue outfit. You gasped. The cops.

"This isn't what you think." You stated. "My eyes tell no lie." He stated.

He walked up to you, and handcuffed your wrists, before leading you to his car. "Let go of me! I have no fault in this!" You yelled, trying to get loose from his grip. He then zapped you. And everything went black.

Hours later....

You woke up, at first you were scared thinking you were dead, since you'd only seen darkness. But then you saw that the light was simply dim, and you spotted some bars around you. You walked up to them and looked around.

'Where am I?' You thought. Then you saw two figures in the light, you couldn't see them quite well however, only their silhouettes. You then figured it was Peach and Mario.

"You're awake now (Y/n), and we're glad you are. We know you're a bit confused on what's going on at the moment, but soon enough your name will be cleared....Wendy's out fighting for your freedom, and if she manages to win the court, you'll be out of here in no time." You heard Mario explain.

"Although the others say that you did the crime, I am on the contrary. We know you well enough to know that you wouldn't do such a thing. You might have your quirks, but you know your limits." You heard Peach say.

"We'll be in touch...but now we must go, our time is up...We wish you good luck, and have hope. Although we don't get along with her, we know Wendy will get you out." Mario said quietly.

You then watched as the silhouettes disappeared, and listened as their footsteps became silent.

Silence.

You looked around your cell, noticing how filthy it looked, and the bad odor in the air. You covered your nose, and put your back against the wall. On the inside you were furious, sad, confused, and slightly hopeful.

You stood on your toes, looking out the window with small bars. It was late in the afternoon, and the breeze was cold. The sky was slightly darkening, and more clouds began to form. Only a small, very small part of the sun could be seen on the horizon.

You sighed, looking back in your cell. Hours had passed, and the sky was dark and cloudy. You heard footsteps getting louder, and your cell slammed open.

"Don't you know how to stay out of trouble?"

You recognized the voice. It was Wendy. But she wasn't alone, you had also heard another pair of footsteps.

"Come on, give her a break. She's been in there for hours, she's probably tired, and disgusted by the place. Don't make it worse." You heard another voice say. It was Lemmy.

You turned around, and noticed Wendy frowning, while Lemmy smiled. You ran out the cell, and hugged the two of them.

"Yeah, you better hug me and be happy your behind was saved." Wendy growled. You chuckled, before releasing the two of them.

"Yeah! Wanna know what happened? Well, they were all like 'she did it!' And she was all like 'I'm gonna flood your town if you don't let her out!' then they were all like 'we got insurance.' And then she was like 'I got Jake from State Farm!' And they were all like 'What is he wearing?' And she was all like 'KHAKIS!'. And then they were all like GASP" Lemmy explained, while acting out everything.

You raised an eyebrow at him, while chuckling. "That's not how it happened, I said and did a bunch of stuff, just to get you out. And I won!" Wendy said, while rolling her eyes at Lemmy.

"Well, whatever! I like my version better!" Lemmy stated. You shrugged. It didn't really matter how it went, what mattered was that you were free at last.

You smiled at the two. "Now let's get outta here, and don't worry about punishing Roy and Morton, they're both grounded. And I took all the golden coins so that we could spend them." Wendy whispered to you.

You smiled at her, and nodded. "Thanks. For getting me free...and fighting through the court." You smiled. She nodded. You noticed she'd sent you a small smile.

"You're very welcome. Just don't get into something so stupid like that again, got it?" She asked. You chuckled and nodded. The three of you soon reached the Koopa Clown Copter, and headed back to your home.

"But...can you do...THIS?" Lemmy asked, while performing a handstand on the border of the copter. "Lemmy! Get back in the copter! You're gonna fall off, and this time you'll have nothing to grab. You got lucky last time." Wendy stated, while driving.

"Oh yeah! I'm surprised King Dad didn't say anything after I grabbed onto his tail!" Lemmy laughed, before jumping back into the copter. "Me too." Wendy muttered.
