Chapter 8

You heard Lemmy chuckle at her response. "So you gonna go home now?" He asked. You thought for a second.

You didn't really feel like going home. Home meant explaining, time wasted, and not many people to speak to. Back at home, you were an only child, and mostly spent the days quiet, and a bit lonely. In fact, it wasn't much of a home.

"I think I already am." You smiled. He smiled back. "Aww shucks, we must mean a lot to ya." Lemmy stated. You nodded. "Gee. How lovely." Wendy muttered.

You three then reached Bowser's castle. It was dark and cool out, and the moon shone down brightly. Wendy parked the Koopa Clown Car in the garage, and soon you three had gone back inside.

Wendy walked directly to her room, but you stayed back in the kitchen with Lemmy, eating the two sandwiches you'd left from earlier.

"Hmm...you wanna play a game?" He asked. "What game?" You muffled. "Hmm...let's play....New Super Mario Bros. U!" He answered. "Not so new anymore, since it is 2016" You answered.

"Who cares? Sometimes I turn on my old Nintendo DS, and play games that are ages old!" Lemmy replied. You smiled, and finished your sandwiches. "Alright, let's go and play. I call Mario." You stated, as you headed out into the hall.

"No fair! I wanted to be Mario!" Lemmy cried, walking after you. "You can be Luigi. Then we can switch, and you can be Mario. How about it?" You suggested. "Hmm...sounds fair!" He stated.

You two made it to his room, and there he began to turn on the Wii U. You watched as he did so. He was very careful, making sure not to damage the Wii U with his sharp claws. He also had quite a bit of patience.

You took a glance around the room, and noticed it almost seemed like the inside of a circus tent. You then glanced at the bed at which you sat, it had the same pattern as his circus ball did. Yellow with orange stars.

"There!" You heard him shout, gaining your attention. He then handed you the Wii U gamepad. "Don't do anything that could damage it. I had to save up three hundred coins to buy this baby!" He explained. He then took a seat next to you on the bed.

You chuckled and nodded. "How'd you save up that many coins?" You asked, selecting the game icon. "Well, chores, evil deeds, and doing circus tricks for the public! That was my favorite part!" Lemmy explained.

You smiled, and nodded. You already knew exactly how much Lemmy loved to do circus acts, and basically, anything related to it. As you reached the saved files, you noticed the first one was completed one hundred percent.

"Whoa, how long did this take?" You asked, taken aback. "Bout a few months. But it was worth it! And I did it all by myself! Aren't you proud?" Lemmy asked, smiling. You sent him a small smile, and nodded. "Impressive" You stated. You then noticed the other two.

"Which file?" You asked, looking at the three files. The first was complete, the second was nearly, and the third was empty. "Hmm...let's do the third one! That one's completely new! It could be our file! Lemmy and (Y/n)'s file!" Lemmy stated, before laying on his belly, and swinging his feet in the air.

"Alright." You answered, you selected the file, and soon various cut scenes began to play.

Hours passed, you two had taken turns, switching each time. Soon enough you'd lost track of time, and you'd fallen asleep watching Lemmy play as Mario.

You then awoke. You opened your eyes, and looked up at the yellow ceiling, noticing the orange stars. The window at your left let most of the brightness in, you then glanced forth, spotting the TV off.

Then memories of the previous night fled your mind. You turned to your right, and noticed Lemmy glancing at you, while sitting on the circus ball.
