CHAPTER 14
Harry’s POV:
I slowly made my way out of bed, stretching my hands up as I let out a yawn. I mean I liked Sarah and all, but she really did have the worst timing. I made my way over to the mini coffee pot standing on the counter and slowly clicked the ‘on’ switch so a little green light flashed on top of the machine. As I did this, Niall, Liam, and Zayn burst through my door.
“What is it with you people trying to break my door open today?” I mumbled, crossing my arms as I looked at them. Niall chuckled, shrugging.
“Sorry mate. But it’s our free day so we thought we’d take you out for some fun. Get dressed. We’re leaving in ten minutes.” Niall said, walking over to the counter and grabbing an apple.
“I really don’t feel li-“
“Harry, stop, you’re coming with us.” Liam explained. I really didn’t feel like going anywhere, I had been hoping to spend the day with Nicole. These last few days had been unbelievably confusing, and I needed some time with her just to prove to her how much I truly cared about her. I had a feeling that at this point, she didn’t believe I even wanted her here, and that was the farthest thing from the truth. I glanced up at the boys and sighed softly, their gazes focused intently on me. But I guess she would understand. I mean she was cleaning after all, right?
“I mean... I guess. Sure.” I mumbled walking over to the bedroom and throwing on a white v-neck and some skinny jeans. I grabbed my beanie and walked back out of the room as I placed it on my head.
“So where are we going anyway?” I asked as I grabbed my phone and wallet, stuffing them into my back pockets.
“Umm, it’s a surprise.” Zayn replied and opened the door. What was up with them today? All of them were acting like they had about ten cups of coffee this morning. And I still haven’t managed to have one.
“Can we stop for coffee at least?” I asked as I walked out of the door. The boys shrugged, closing it behind me.
“Yeah I can definitely use some coffee, man.” Niall replied and I looked at him, raising my eyebrows. He definitely didn’t seem like he needed coffee. He was ridiculously hyper for that matter.
“Wait, where’s Louis?” I asked as we approached the elevator. Louis would have normally been the first to go do something exciting in a new city. Strange.
“He… he didn’t feel good.” Liam said slowly, like he was unsure of what he was saying.
“I think he has the flu.” Zayn added and I shrugged slightly, just as the elevator dinged and the arrow pointing down was illuminated. I sure hope he felt better by tomorrow. That was when we were playing Madison Square Gardens, and that’s all Louis had been talking about for the past month.
“Oh.” I replied, leaning against the elevator wall. The three of them smiled at me awkwardly, their gazes stuck to me. I couldn’t help but look down at myself, thinking that I had something stuck to my clothing by the way they were staring. But there was nothing there. We stood in silence for what seemed like an eternity until Niall finally broke the silence.
“The three of us were talking and we understand you’re with Nicole and everything, but we all feel that you need to spend a little more time with Sienna, you know, for the public.” Niall said hesitantly and I glanced up at him, popping an eyebrow.
“Ok, I’ll keep that in mind.” I said slowly.
“Good because we sort of told Sienna you were interested in going out with her tonight. You know, around town. Dinner, dancing, clubs, stuff like that…” Liam said with a nervous smile.
