Strange Feelings

Chapter Three

~Jaime P.O.V~

I sigh while watching bart eat some cookies. He look at me and gave me a cookie.

"Thanks hermano. " I say to hin making bart smile.

I smiled back and ate the cookie he gave me.

Jaime Reyes, I have noticed that you heart beat goes high whenever you make the impulse happy.

'Shut up scarab. My heart is normal as always. '

You are lying Jaime Reyes.

I sigh and lean back on the coach making bart look at me.

"The scarab? " bart ask me while eating the cookie.

I nodded my head and look at bart smiling. Bart blush but smile back. I heard nightwing calling us to the kitchen making me and bart goan. We got up and went to the kitchen to see what nightwing wanted.

"What is it ese? " I ask standing next to the entrance.

The Flash, bart grandpa, was standing next to wally and smiled at bart who smile back.

"Okay kids ready to go? " barry said looking at us both.

I nodded my head and bart vibrate in happiness. I chuckle and held him down making bart chuckle. We follow barry to the teleportation room where batman and superman were waiting at. Batman nodded at flash and gave him something. Bart was close to me smiling at me brightly excited for the mission.

"Alright good luck and be careful you three. " batman said looking at me and bart mostly.

We nodded our heads and following the flash into the teleportation and in a flash we were gone.

When the light die down we found ourselves on path which will lead us to the village.

"Okay let get going. " barry said looking at me and bart.

We start walking to the village following the path. Once we got there we saw little children playing around and throwing a ball around. When the little kids saw us they ran to the flash smiling brightly. Asking questions about him. Bart chuckle while I smiled soon the elder came out and smile. She was a old lady with long hair that was in a braid.

"You must be the hero's to stop that singal I presume. " the lady said looking at us.

Barry nodded his head walking up to the elder. She smiled and nodded her head.

"I am flash, that other two is impulse and blue beetle. " barry said pointing at us.

The elder smile and nodded her head.

"Well it a horror to have you here. " the elder said.

"No the honor is ours. " barry said while shaking the elder hand.

We watch as barry talk to the elder. I look at bart who was looking around the village.

"This place is crash. " bart said turning to me.

I nodded my head and heard the flash calling us.

"Impulse and blue beetle. The elder had given us a house to sleep in and rest. Come on she want to show us around. " barry said while walking next to the elder.

Me and bart ran to catch up to barry. We look around the village and indeed the village was crash. There house were inside the trees and they had little river's going through their village. They had pet deers, foxes, or wolves. They had a field full od vegetable and fruits.

Bart smiled widely when he saw little kids painting on themselves pretending to be something. The elder smile and wave us over to a table.

"You must be hungry please sit and eat before you search. " the elder said while holding her stick.

Barry smiled and thanks the elder.

"Maybe later elder. We must look for this machine for your people safety. " barry said smiling at the elder.

The elder modded her head and point at a different path.

"That path well lead you to the noise were our animals get pain from. But i must warn you it is dangerous for the children because their ears bleed when the noise gets to them. "
The elder said looking at bart and me all concerned.

Barry nodded and look at me and bart.

"Maybe you two should wait here for now. Just to be safe okay. " barry said while putting his hand on bart shoulder.

I nodded my head while bart whine but nodded.

"Okay flash will stay. Just be careful, please. " bart said looking at his grandpa.

Barry smiled and nodded his head.

"Be back in a flash. " barry said while leaving.

Bart sigh and look at me. I smiled at him.

"It okay hermano. He'll be fine. " I told him while putting my hand on his shoulder.

Bart smiled and nodded his head. The elder went to use and smile.

"Don't you fear it has no infection to adults for some reason. Come let me show you around more. " the elder said while placing her hands on my and bart shoulder.

We both nodded and follow the elder through her village.
