Strange Feelings

Chapter Thirty-Seven

White fox was in bart room standing in the middle. She look at the mirror and walk towards it and glare at herself. When bart press his door open he watch white fox punch the mirror hard watching the shatter glass fly away from the wall. Bart gasp when he saw her do it again and dash to her pulling her right hand back.

"White fox! Stop!! " bart yelled while holding her hand back.

White fox look at the mirror and let her left hand go lose. When bart look at her carefully he let her other hand go watching it go lose too.

"Sorry..for breaking your mirror bart. " white fox said still looking at the broken mirror.

Bart look at white fox face and notice there was no emotions showing at all and that she just look blank. Bart then look at white fox right hand to see her white glove bleeding red and some shatter glass on them. Bart pulled white fox to his bed and took her glove off and then Jaime and Tim open the door making them gasp.

"What happen? " jaime ask looking at the mirror and back at bart.

"I'll get the first aid kit. " Tim said and took of to the medical room.

Jaime walk next to bart and watch him pull some big shards off white fox who look at her hand closely.

"Bart? " jaime said looking at him.

"She broke the mirror...I just don't know why. " bart said looking at jaime and looking back at white fox hand.

Jaime nodded and look at white fox who still had a blank face. Soon Tim walk in and sat next to bart pulling some bandages and alcohol to clean the cut. Tim took out a tweezers to pull the small shards. Once that was done they clean her hand and wrap it up. White fox pulled her right hand back when they were done and got up looking at her hand.

"Thank you. " she said and look at the blood stain on her white glove.

"Don't worry white fox. I'll have the clean for you. " Tim said grabbing the glove and smiling at her.

She nodded and look at bart again.

"Again I am sorry for breaking your mirror bart. " white fox said looking at bart sadly.

"Hey it's okay. I'm just wondering why you left the gym when Wonder woman and Black Canary came. " bart said walking up to her putting his hand on her shoulders.

She look at bart hand and grab it softly and smiled at him.

"Don't worry about it. Come, let go to HQ. " she said while taking a other glove out from her pockets and putting it on.

Bart look at her sadly. His white fox in the future was just like that to everyone except for him. She would always tell him how she felt and what she thought about things.

"Bart you okay? " jaime said waving his hand at bart face making him jump.

White fox and Tim look at bart concerned and bart smiled.

"Hehee sorry. I'm crash don't worry. " bart smiled and walk out his room while grabbing white fox arm who smiled sweetly at Bart.

They walk back to HQ where they saw Hal talking to superman who look up when he heard footsteps coming.

"Oh Impulse, Blue beetle, Robin, and White fox " superman said smiling at them.

Jaime was still in his armor and wave at superman and Hal. Bart smiled and wave back too. Superman smiled and look at white fox.

"White fox may I talk with you. Alone. " superman said smiling at her.

White fox raise a brow and look at bart who nod his head.

"Go ahead. " he said and white fox nod her head and left with superman who put a hand on her shoulder.

Bart watch them go to the corner of the room and look away. Hal walk to them and point at white fox and superman.

"So that the girl that know about your guys gift. " hal said crossing his arms.

"Yes but she on our side. " Tim said looking at Hal.

"Okay. One question thou. Why does she ask bart for permission to do stuff. " hal said looking at bart and the other with a raise eyebrow.

"Yea bart why does she do that? I notice that she always ask for your permission. " Tim said looking at bart.

Bart look at them and rub his head.

"I don't know actually. I'll ask her when she come back. " Bart said looking at the others.

Tim and hal nodded there head and starred talking about the aliens. Bart wasn't paying attention much and thought back in the future. White fox was always the one giving command to people and making sure that they listen so that they'll survive from the reach. She even gave bart orders but easy one for him since he still had the collar around him.

"Bart. "

Bart gasp and look at Jaime who was looking at him worried.

"Are you okay? You keep zoning out. " jaime whisper while pulling him away from Tim and Hal who were still talking.

"Y-yea just thinking back nothing much. " Bart said and smiled at jaime.

"Bart..." Jaime said and kiss bart making Bart kiss back.

They kiss for a while and bart gasp.

"Ow what was that? " bart said rubbing his neck and looking back to see nobody behind him.

"Sorry just getting some samples Impulse. " atom said standing next to bart shoulders. "I was going ask but I couldn't fine you. "

Bart smiled and nodded his head. Atom jump off bart shoulder and became bigger. He was holding five DNA tubes counting the other tube and writing down bart hero name on it that he got from bart. The other tubes were from the others fill with there DNA.

"That should be all of them. " atom said looking at the tubes.

"Why do you have those, atom? " jaime ask looking at the tubes.

"Well me, and Captain Atom are going to try and figure out how these metagen work and what they can do. " atom said looking at bart and jaime.

White fox then snatch those tubes away from atom hands.

"Hey! " atom said glaring at white fox who glare back.

"Why are you getting their blood for!? " white fox growled and superman and bart were next to white fox side.

"White fox stand down. Atom is just going to study and try to understand these special metagen better. " superman said in a calm voice.

She look at superman and back at bart. Bart nodded and put his hands on white fox shoulder.

"White fox it's okay. Give those back to atom. " bart said softly and she nodded.

"I'm sorry. " she said and handed the tubes back to atom who smiled and nodded at her.

"It's okay. Your just doing your job. " he said and nodded at superman and left the room.

White fox sigh and look at atom walk away. She has some learning to do if she wants to get the hero's trust.
