Strange Feelings

Chapter Six

~Jaime P.O.V~

Bart and I followed the elder through her village. Little kids did join us but left when they got called.

"This place is so peaceful. " I said looking at the flower bloom.

"Oh yes. We do take care of our surroundings instead of destroying them. " the elder smiled seeing her people plant.

Bart smiled at me when he saw a pond with fishes jumping out of the water and into a other pond.

"Those fishes are crash. " bart smiled at me and I nodded my head.

I notice the elder looking at me and bart smiling. I blush and look at bart who was playing with a pine cone. Wait where did he get that!?!

Ughh I been over thinking on what the elder said about me and bart being mates and all. It just been bugging me cause I do want to be bart mate. Wait I mean boyfriend ughh the villagers and their words. Anyways I watch as bart dash away and came back with a other pine cone but this one was tiny.

"I'm calling you tiny. Tiny. " bart smiled and place the pine cone on my head.

I raise a bow at bart who chuckle and pull tiny down.

"Tiny likes you. " bart smiled and watch the elder get stop by a lady.

The lady whisper something in her eyes and she smiled.

"Would you two help me with something. " the elder smile while walking.

"Uhh sure why not. " I said while walking with the elder.

Bart was next to me while we walk to a huge tree house and saw children playing. The elder wave at the children and went inside the house. The elder push a door open reveling a nursing room. There we saw five babies sleeping but one was awake crying.

"Elder. Thank goodness you came. This little one keeps crying. " one of the care takers said worried.

"Hand me her. " the elder said taking her hands out.

They gave her the baby but it keep crying. The elder smiled and look at bart who was looking at the baby worried.

"Is she okay? " bart ask while putting his hands on my shoulder.

"Yes but for some reason she won't stop crying. " the elder sighed.

"Can I try. " bart ask while going in front of the elder.

She smiled and pass the baby to bart. Bart held the baby really close making her lean her head on bart chest making her hear his heart beat while taping her. To my surprise the baby stop crying and was looking at bart.

"Oh how lovely. Thank you hero's. " the lady said while taking the baby away but it started crying again.

The lady gave bart the baby who stop crying and giggle when she saw bart. The elder chuckle and put a hand on bart shoulder.

"Would you mind watching her for us while we get her milk ready. " the elder smiled at bart who nodded his head.

I smiled and went next to bart smiling at the baby. When she saw me she reach her hands out and was babbling. Bart smiled and touch the baby hand.

"Aww she wants you to carry her. " bart smiled and look at me.

I nodded my head and grab the baby she giggle and started putting her hands on my face. Bart chuckle while playing with the baby hands.

~third view~

"Oh elder they look like a happy family. " the lady said looking at elder. "But I'm still wondering why the impulse was able to calm down the baby. "

The elder smiled and look at bart.

"Hmm seem like the impulse have a wonderful gift. " the elder smile and look at the lady.

The lady had her eyes wide and look at bart.

"You mean that...oh my his lover will be very lucky. " the lady smiled looking at jaime and bart kissing the baby cheek at the same time.

"Oh their not lovers my dear. " the elder said.

"What. But they have a strong connection. " the lady said looking at bart and jaime.

"Yes and sooner or later they'll find out. " the elder smiled and grab the bottle of milk.

She went to bart who smile and accepted the bottle. Jaime gave the baby back to bart and watch him feed the baby who was falling asleep while drinking the milk. Bart smile when the baby feel asleep and was snoring.

"Awww she soo cute. " bart smiled and kiss the baby cheek.

Jaime smiled and watch as bart place the baby back in her crib.

"Okay let's get you back. One of my people saw the flash coming back. " the elder smiled while walking out.

Jaime and bart follow behind and wave bye to the lady. They got back to the house and saw flash with his arms cross.

"Flash! " bart smiled and dash to him.

Jaime smiled and walk over there nodding at barry who smiled and nodded back. The elder came and smiled.

"Were they any trouble elder? " barry ask the elder smiling at her.

"Oh no. Not at all. They actually helped me. " the elder smiled.

Barry smiled and nodded his head and look at bart and jaime.

"Okay you two ready to get to work. " barry said smiling at them.
