RECAP:
"Calum?"

(that's it lmfao)

Calum turned around, as weak and frail as he was. His heart seemed to hammer against his ribs, which were fragile and seemed to be burned, as if any simple touch too extreme would send them flaking into ash. He was in so much pain but he didn't feel it, not anymore.

He never got a chance to turn around himself.

The voice -moreover, the one who owned the voice- had placed hands on Calum's hips and turned him around slowly but surely, and the touch of fingertips caressing his bony, pale cheek was all too familiar.

It was Luke, the boy who was allegedly dead.

That boy stood right before Calum.

The blond boy looked absolutely wrecked. His eyes hooded with exhaustion and evident pain but also wide with surprise and overwhelming love, skin pale and but slightly reddened where the wounds used to be, and heavy, dark circles around his distracted blue eyes.

Those thin, pink lips, that tasted like heaven on Calum's own lips - He missed them. He missed them so much.

That soft, pale skin and toned, well-built body - Seen in full detail and touched intimately only by Calum, in which his tan skin would contrast the other's milky, lighter skin. Looking upon Luke's shirtless torso and the black boxers that clung to his legs made him realize how much he really missed the other boy and that's when Calum began to sob.

He sobbed, he cried, he couldn't stop the tears that cascaded down his cheeks, like hot acid on his skin. His eyes burned as he was pulled into Luke's arms, suddenly questioning if this wasn't just his mind hallucinating - But when he felt Luke's hot breath on his ear, Calum knew it was real.

He mewled softly, sniffling as Luke kissed the top of his head, his protective embrace enveloping Calum in a foggy state of security, love, but most of all - happiness. He hadn't felt so happy in what seemed like forever, and right now all he wanted to do was cry into Luke's chest, to hold him and never let go.

"Baby, it's okay. I'm here. Calum, I'm here, look at me," Luke was purring softly, rubbing up and down Calum's back with one hand softly to sooth him, but Calum's shoulders only shook more as he cried harder, but made no significant sound. Only silent tears and heavy breaths.

"Calum, my little angel, please don't cry. I'm here and I won't ever leave. Not again," Luke cooed gently, his tone soft and nurturing and for once, in his entire life (or what he remembered of it,) Calum believed it when someone said they wouldn't leave.

Slowly, Calum pulled away from Luke's arms to look at him, trying to focus his blurred, watery vision on the beautiful boy before him. Luke used the hand that wasn't rubbing his back to softly grip Calum's chin and tip his head up to look at him.

"I love you, Calum. I would never leave you. I'm so sorry, so, so sorry." Luke was murmuring but once Calum gained composure again, he hushed him tiredly.
