He kept firing bullets and laughed maniacally. What was he shooting at? Was he some type of weirdo who worked for those ability-hunting animals? Whatever.

I tried to look around him but once again, I saw bodies on the ground. But, there's no blue metal? OMG, someones heavily panting. Is that person alive? His head turned toward me and the psychopath saw that guy move.

*BANG*
He shot the person looking at me shouted, "Oh well, at least it was fun shooting you about 5 times or so." His head dropped to the floor. My mental state was weak. Not because of all the blood but this guy's twisted attitude. I decided to name him... The Twisted Sadist! I almost wanted to shout his name out. He continued to shoot the body over and over. Unconsciously, I raised my arm and shot Mr. Twisted Sadist with a spear of ice. I grazed his leg and broke the spear into tiny bits so he get scratched a little more.

My plan on getting his attention worked. But something seemed off. Not just his outfit and mind but his expression. Even after I harmed him, he didn't seem to be in any pain. His face was expressionless. He turned his head and stared at me. He pointed his gun at me and pulled the trigger. I was getting ready to run but I wasn't fast enough to escape the shooting range. My ankle was soon pierced by the bullet. I grunted and winced. All I could do was grit my teeth and bear with the pain. No matter how hard I tried not to scream, the pain broke through the barrier of my teeth.

I saw my friends running toward me with worried looks. I got up supporting myself with only one leg. When looked back, everyone looked really angry. And I mean like scale of 1-10 : 11 angry. But Amber's rage was on a totally different scale. She looked as if she was about to rip Mr. Sadist into shreds. Ashton on the other hand was panting like crazy from running  toward me.

I shot a few more spears at him while I stepped away from my friends. One of the spears went through his ragged clothing and pierced his stomach. He raised his arm, holding something that looked like a small bomb.

"Die already, you arrogant brat!" He screeched. He then through the bomb straight at me. I planned on making a a thick layer of ice around the bomb before it exploded but something hit me and I fell the ground. I felt something heavy on top of me. Wait a minute... Was that SOMETHING supposed to be SOMEONE? I lifted my head to see that Ethan was on top of me. For a few moments, I was extremely embarrassed but I noticed that his back was heavily burned.

"ETHAN!" I shrieked in worry. My chest felt tight and guilt engulfed my mind. I kept saying "I'm sorry" over and over but what would that do? It's not like a simple word such as "sorry" could heal such a large injury. Luckily, his power was healing so he could regenerate quickly and heal others. It kinda reminds me of the anime character Chelia from Fairy Tail. He soon recovered and I ended up going through a guilt trip. What would I have done if he died? Would I have mourned like after Anna's death? Or would my heart become even colder.

I looked up at Amber, giving her an expression practically telling her that I would handle him. She glanced back at me mouthing the words "Like hell I'm letting you fight this effed up guy alone." I knew that she meant it. Once she's thought about it, there is no turning back. I got up and tied my hair into a bun. I clipped up my bangs and got ready to fight. Instead of letting everyone fight, Amber and I decided to take him on alone. With a wall of ice, I gently pushed everyone back a safe distance away. Amber then quickly created a force field around them made of water to keep them from  interfering with the fight. Barry started kicking the force field but fell back on his bum. He needed ashton's help to get up. I laughed until my stomach was sore. Veronica started banging her fists as well. She was yelling something but it sounded very muffled. Leyna stood there, wondering what was going on while Ethan was still unconscious. Amber thickened the shield to block the noise.

Instead of freezing the ground or shooting blasts of ice I was going to use a different strategy. I wasn't gonna be half-assed and use cheap tricks. I raised up my arm and thought of a design for a weapon. Eventually, a staff appeared in my hand. Amber brought out every element she could control. For sure, she was serious about this fight.

"Let's give this one our best since it's been a while ever since the last time we fought together," Amber said.

"Alright then. I'll give you a fair share of pummeling this sadist to the ground," I said in agreement.
