Amber had waved goodbye and walked into the distance, leaving me crying. It was clear to see that that one ended. I then opened my eyes again, still as tired as ever. Still chained up to the solid block, I dragged myself with my chin to the bars. I shook my wrists that were still stuck in between the two rusty pieces of metal. My wrists hurt a lot. I looked down slowly to find that they were horribly bruised, almost till the point where they were bleeding.

"Barry! How much time has passed since Amber took off?" I practically commanded him to tell me.

"I'm guessing 20 minutes." He quickly responded.

"Did you do anything useful during that 20 minutes, Marissa? Like me, who had been banging these chains practically everywhere to get them off." Ashton asked.

"I dunno. I guess you could say I have prophetic dreams now." I said in a cockily manner.

"In your dreams, Marissa." Barry said.

"Well, they literally are." I replied in a monotone voice.

"Wait, Marissa. Can't you just freeze the chains on your arms and legs? If you wit long enough, you can probably crack them off." Ethan jumped in.

"Huh? No, I can't. I don't have enough energy. My wounds are dragging me down. I would ask you to heal me but you too are stuck in that cell with company only from a block." I sighed.

"I'm so bored." Ashton complained.

Suddenly, there was a soft barking noise coming from the right of my cell. The paws and nails scratched against the cold rock floor as they quickly sped across the halls. Soon, a husky appeared behind the bars of my cage, heavily panting. To me, it was no shock. The husky was a dark gray after all.

"We've got to go...save them." The husky huffed quietly.

"You're a bit late, Veronica. Hurry and untie us. Please." I said hurriedly.

"I can't untie you if I can't open up the cell." She clicked her tongue.

"Just morph into something with ginormous claw and break off the lock to our cells!" Barry suggested.

She did as was told and obliterated everything metal. She practically demolished the place. Oh, Veronica. She turned back into her normal self looked around in awe. It was almost as if she was asking herself 'Did I do all of that?'

Ethan quickly healed my wounds and we set off. I slipped my hair into a neat and tidy ponytail as we sneakily jogged along unfamiliar halls. As we got closer, the sound of a muffled scream got louder. We ran and ran till we reached a forked route. There was another muffled scream that came from the left side and we all quickly ran into it, even though we had jogged our lungs out.

We ran the endless path that the tunnel provided and I almost lost consciousness again. I could barely see as I ran but eventually the muffled scream turned into a clear and loud shriek. I blinked a few times for my eyes to adjust to the surrounding. Instantly, my heart dropped. I could see this all very clearly even without my glasses.

Before me laid a cold, pale Amber that couldn't move. There were no breathing motions, her chest didn't slowly go up and down. And Leyna..... She was tied to the wall. Her face was red, filled with guilt and sadness. She screeched as she shed her tears that were filled with anger.

And there he was. Standing there cackling, watching as my friends were being tortured, cackling at the sight of me an my friends' faces of horror. There stood the ass that killed my dear friend and mentor, Anna. And next to him was a extremely familiar portal that I knew could obliterate the entire planet and the laws of physics.
