I'm going to give you a little bit of Brenda's pov because I think it will help the story a little. This chapter is dedicated to @Lindsayisbaeok.
I walked down to studyhall thinking about how bad I felt for Kelly. I don't think my mom would ever do anything like that to me. I sit down next to Sam and ask her for a piece of paper. She hands one to me after pulling it out of her binder. I take a pencil out of my school iPad case and write a buspass for Kelly and forge her mom's signature. I look at it, it looks convincing. I get a pass and bring it to the office. They hand me a bus pass and instruct me to give it to Kelly. So I walk to the eighth grade math classroom and hand it to Kelly. She takes it and grins not needing to look at it because she already knew where she was going. I rushed out of the room before the teacher could question me of why I was here. Then the lunch bell rang and I walked to lunch with Sam and Kelly. Josh caught up to us and Sam moved over so Josh could squeeze in next to Kelly. I feel awkward when I'm around them, because I hate Josh, but then again I love Kelly because shes my other half. But we all know if Sam or I had asked Josh out for Kelly and he had said no, I would have kicked his stupid little ass. Ugh I hate couples. We all sat together at lunch and Vinnie came and sat with Maddie. Again, I hate couples. But then again watch, some dopey guy is going to fall in love with me and I'll be all woah! And I'll think to myself, we are so stupid when we are young. Hahahahahahaha right, that'll be the day. Ha.
"Brenda what's so funny?" Kelly asks.
"Nothing." I say smiling.
I look down and Kelly and Josh are sitting next to me and are holding hands. I'm happy that their happy, but I just wish somebody would be in love with me like that. Is it selfish to think like that?
