Chapter Twenty

Josh is wearing a blue and white plaid shirt, has his hair combed, is wearing blue Nikes, khakis and looks amazing!
"Wow, you look absolutely beautiful Kelly." He says staring.
I blush. "You look really amazing." I tell him. "But like I mean you always look amazing but tonight, you look breath taking."
He laughs and looks down at the floor." Thank you."
"Can we have Brenda take a few pictures of us?" I ask turning to Brenda.
"Sure, but you have to send them to me." He says laughing a little.
We go and stand in front of the nice background they have set up outside for people. He wraps his arm around my waist and we both smile. Brenda takes three pictures and I send them to Josh.
The dance is at the town hall instead of our school because Semi is always held here. We walk in and it's pretty dark, there are disco lights everywhere, music is blaring from the speakers. There are snack and drink tables at one side of the room. Other tables and chairs set up around the room for anyone who wants to use them. Lexi stands at the far end corner with her friends, she spots me and smirks. I know she'll probably pester me later. I'm just glad I'm here with Josh and my friends. What do you mean by Justin Bieber is playing.
"What do you usually do at dances?" Josh asks turning to me.
I grin and turn to my friends, "I dance like a single fool with my friends." I say still grinning. "What about you?" I turn back to Josh. He turns to Vinnie and Elliot who has now caught up with us. They both shrug. "Umm I usually sit with my friends and if the song is right, we dance like single fools too." He says turning back to me grinning now as well.
"Ok sounds fun." I say as Jelous by Nick Jonas comes on. I glance quickly at Lexi who is glaring at us. "Do you just want to do that and when the song is right, you guys can come dance with us like single fools?" Josh looks at Vinnie and Elliot and they nod.
"Sure I guess." And with that, him and his friends walk off to find a seat. I turn back to my squad which I guess I'll call them for now. Leigha and Gram walk in as the song changes to On My Mind by Elie Goulding. Gram says something to her and she nods, he walks off towards Josh, Elliot, and Vinnie and Leigha joins us. And shortly after that Sage walks in and walks over to us. We all just mostly stand and talk, and scream, and scream sing at each other. Some of the few things I'm actually good at. The song changes to Die Young by Kesha. I love this song. Josh gets up with his squad and he asks me if I want anything to drink and the others do the same to their girlfriend's. "Could I have a mountain dew? And would it be possible to get Brenda a drink too?" I hand him two ones for Brenda's drink.
"Sure."
"Can I have a root beer?" Brenda asks politely.
"Yeah, but Kelly babe, are you sure you should have mountain dew?" He asks smiling at me.
I laugh really hard, "My mom doesn't want me to drink that shit so hell yeah."
He laughs too and walks off.
When he's at the drink table, Lexi walks over to him.
