I never thought I will see the day she cry, since the first time I lay my eyes on her she wore nothing but a smile.

I remember the day I ask her why does she always smile? and she just looked up to me and said: "life is too short to cry, so I plan on spending them smiling" I laugh at her but inside I pray that she will.

She has that air around her, that special something that makes me relax and soon enough I realized I'm falling in love with the girl next door.

The day she said "yes" was the happiest day of my life, I never thought that she of all people will be my wife. And I am sure as hell happy that I was wrong.

I should have known better, angels like here don't belong with guys like me, I massed up, I hurt her and now I watch her cry: my wife, my angel, the girl next door, the girl who never cry.

She wipes her tears and smile, my heart was pounding and with shaking hand I ask her: why are you smiling: without missing a beat she answered: "life is too short to spend them with people that hurt me"

And just like that she was gone and I was left staring at the empty place she left.
Cause life are too short to cry.
