Arnold held her within his hands and looked down at the now blankless expression girl he had around his arms.

She looked so delicate, the feel of her cold arms gave him goosebumps.

"Here, lay her out on the sheet." she motioned her hands towards a bed that was covered with paper, and a blue pillow that was the only vibrant thing that filled the scenery.

Arnold adjusted her still body onto the bed. Her cold hands detached from his warmth. Arnold looked at her with concern and relief.

Helga chose me?
She looked up at me ...and looked soo innocent and vulnerable.
I never saw her look at me that way.

Arnold continued to stare at her beautiful curls in her hair. Her hair was scattered across the fabric of the bed randomly.

"She looks dehydrated, which explains why she fainted, she needs to drink more water." She informs Arnold.

He nodds still distracted by Helga's sleeping face.

The Nurse puts her hand on Helga's forehead.

"She is burning up, did you see her acting up or strange lately?" She looked up at him.

Arnold tries hard to remember from the beginning...

I took her to her class..
She sat in the back like always.
What else?
OH! That boy, Arik I believe, met her.
And I guess she has been acting strange ever since Arik and her got acquainted...but that doesn't make sense.

Arnold frowns. "im not sure, but she started acting strange once she got acquainted with some boy, Arik." he rubbs his hands together. "but I don't think that has to deal with her condition." he turns towards Helga.

The Nurse backs up from her head.

"I guess she just got a little sick on the way here. The weather outside is terrible, you can cook an egg on the sidewalk." She exaggerates.

Arnold chuckled to himself. "Yeah thats possible."

"So I will call Helga's parents and then I will write you a pass to-" she was aburptly interupted.

"Im fine," Helga mumbles barely.

The Nurse jolts up and notices the weakend girl sit up from her catnap.

"Your still pale." Arnold acknowledged Helga's faded sapphire eyes.
She hummed a mumble and stared down at the nurse.

"If that is what you wish, but I still need to call your parents." She sat at her desk and fumbled with the paperwork that filled her desk.

"My, parents?" She scrinched her nose. "No, NO! That won't be necessary, my parents are NEVER at home." She informed.
She removed her sleppy feet, that felt like there were little marbles tickling her feet numb. And sat up slowly.

"Here, let me help," Arnold reached for her waist.

Arnolds touching me! Arnolds touching me! Arnolds t-BLAHHHH
Calm down Helga, you are on the verge of throwing up and flooding the whole school with your vomit!

Arnold rests his hands on her waist and pressures her weight on him.
"Sorry if this feels awkward." He whispers at her.

"What are you talking about, im sick as a dog, and you think im paying attention to yo-" she holds her mouth shut as she feels hot liquid rise up her throat. She shakes her head furiously as questioning looks from both Arnold and the Nurse crowd her.

"Nope. You need to go home." The Nurse countinues to flip through piles of paper, til she stop to write on one specific page that had Helga G. Pataki.

"Do you think your parents could drive you?" She questions Helga, still writing out a note. Helga looks at Arnold shaking from left to right gently. Still clenching her teeth onto her lip.

"No? No." Arnold translate Helga's message.

"Hmm, then there is no choice. Will you be avaiable to walk her home, Arnold?" She lifts up from her desk and puts the note tucked in her hand.

Helga was screaming "No, No, Oh Gawd No!" But of course if she did that only ripples of chunks would come out. So her mouth was kept shut. But her cheeks were reddend as a tomato, she was soo pale that the redness of her cheeks was the only thing that standed out. Arnold however was puzzled at the response Helga seemed to be giving.

Yes? No? Helga! I dont know what your saying! Hmmm.. I think she is saying; Yes! Got it.

"Yes, Ms.?" He eyes the nurse confused.

"Ms. Williams." She said proudly.

Helga went slump at his answer as a sign of failure and in Arnold's eyes he thought it was releif.

Arnold: That went well! Thing could have gone worser?

Helga: Kill me.

They exited the Nurse Office and excused themselves.
As Phoebe and Gerald seemed to be waiting at the door.

Phoebe ran over Helga with questions and asked for explanations.
While Arnold..

Gerald clammdd his hands between his fist. "How did it go? What happened in their? You guys took FOREVER. Me and Phoebe missed 5th period cause of you two." He looked at Arnold, and at Helga who was having her own conversation with Phoebe.

"Cmon, Helga isn't feeling well. At least tell her are you feeling okay." He nudged him.

"Arnold, " he stares at his blankly face, "she is sick, I can tell the difference if she is feeling okay and when she is looking like Casper the friendly-ghost. In this case, this is Helga. G. Pataki. So maybe friendly won't be in her forte." He inches his way closer to Phoebe.

Arnold grunts. "Anyways I have to take her home." He tells him as Gerald almost tapps Phoebe's shoulder.

Gerald turns his head and laughs. Laughing so hard, that Phoebe turns her head to see if he was okay.

"Im fine," he countinues his last giggles quietly.

"What!" Arnold looks at him with half-lidded eyes, annoyed.

"Nothing, forget about it." He smirks harder. He clears his throat. "What about that hot blonde that you were checking up in the library." He eyes Arnold's reaction.

Arnold flushes red.
"What about her?" He avoids Gerald's eye contact. "Anyways, its the 1st day. I dont want to rush things." He says. Gerald laughs a little.

"Its funny, how Hilda and Helga look soo alike, hmm.."Gerald proclaims jokingly. Arnold is extremely-annoyed.

"Whatever Gerald," He walks away.

Phoebe walks toward him. "Hey Pheebs," he looks around her, and he can't finds Helga. His heart pumps fast.
"Helga's getting her supplies, poems, and other random thing's that make Helga." She releives him of hks worry.

Then backtracks.

"Poems?" He says puzzled.

Before Phoebe can say anymore, Helga is already besides the exit of the door waiting for Arnold.

"Crap! Uh, Phoebe, Helga's over there," he takes a run towards Helga. "see ya tomorrow!" He yells at Phoebe and Gerald, as they both wave goodbye.

ABOUT TIME FOOTBALL HEAD!!

STILL, clenching her mouth shut.
Arnold takes a look at her now filled hands. Which was full of homework and shrivled up piles of poems. All in tons of folders that she was forced to carry, thanks to the smallest bookbag on her back.

"Here, let me carry them." He sticks his hands and arms open.
She shakes her head.
"Helga." He says in a serious tone.
She rolls her eyes and shoves them onto his chest.

He situtates the pile of folders and puts them in one hand. He looks up at Helga, "ready?" As pulls the exit of the door open.

Helga gives him the best fake smile that has ever been managed on earth. And a thumbs up for extra effect.

"After you," he says formally.
