Great! Late once again...

Helga hurried along the steps of the school and entered the hallway.

Everything was hallow. Nothing to be seen, but other students in there classrooms.

Gawd! Where am I supposed to go!

She dropped her bag and started kneeling to look through it.

Her hands touching beneath all the CRAP she budged in there last night.

Gotcha!

She took at a slim sheet of paper that had her schedule on there.

Blah blah blah

She skimmed through the rest of the paper and shoved it in her pockets.

Social studies, here i-

Arnold!

They almost collided into each other, but Helga took a frozen pause in front of the blonde boy.

Ahhhhhh!!
What do I say?!
I know! Hi, just say-

"HEY, what's your problem football head!!" she said, dazed from the disagreement her head and BIG mouth made.

Arnold looked half-lidded in confusion .

He stood there, biceps peeping through the blue polo shirt he wore. His hair, still that same beautiful shade of the sun. That same old baseball hat he wore. Well not the same of course, but a close match. His eyes glowered emerald and sparkled once he opened his half-lidded eyes.

"sorry," He eyed me and smiled softly, "Helga?" He opened his hands towards her, offering a hug.

Which made her flabbergasted, confused, hopelessly vulnerable, and... angry?

"hehe.." she laughed nervously, intriguing Arnold to move closer."Yes Its Helga, who else would it be!!" she moved back quickly. Holding her hands to her back.

"okay! Okay.. Just glad to see you
again. Yo- you look good!" he smiled.

Helga on the other hand was panicking! The proximity he was from her. The feelings pressing on her harder than she though it would be.

For a whole summer, she avoided him. And it does not seem at all like Helga but she just felt like she needed to let go. She tried. And still seems to have feelings for him. Concealed but she could see it.

"I got to go to umm..Social Studies, first period!" I frowned at his face then traced my eyes towards his stomach.

Oh man! How I'd love to see you reveal those six packs that your hiding!

She had a goofy smile, still staring at his stomach.

"Helga?"

She snapped back to reality, her smile faded to a scowl.

"What!" she replied.

"its almost 2nd period." he looked at me. Secretly holding back a laugh.

She slumped her back in utter failure.
"i knew I was gonna be late," she mumbled to herself. She spud off leaving him behind, but that only made him do the same.
