Amy's POV: He had  passed out while   trying to     swim  on to get us to  shore.  Luckily  for  us,  he   floated when I   turned  him around  on his  back, I  had to  help  paddle  to  the   waves didn't  pull us  out  more. I  was  getting  tiered. But soon enough, we   both  washed onto the  shore. 

His body getting   heavier as he  was on   land, and I    had  started to  pat his cheeks.  But he  didn't wake up. I  was sitting on  top of him.

"Shadow, come on, wake up!"  I  was  having a  panic attack  like  when  shadow was  shot a long time back.  But  I  yelped with   blush  when he  pulled   me    closer to  him.

His   voice husky  and  groggily. "You talk to  much Rose." He   had   his arms around my   waist. 

He was still werehog, and he  was   looking  very  hot   looking   drenched. I  noticed his  nose  on my   neck and I   stuttered.

 "Sh-Shadow,  stop it.  You  scared me, you  big   animal!"  I hit his chest lightly  and he   grunted  as  he  looked at me.

"You were  scared?  Like  hell, you were the  one  under  the water,  stuck. You   looked like you  could of passed out!"  He  hinted   he  was   upset.

I  could understand that,   that  how  much it  would hurt to  lose someone. "Don't ever  do that to  me again  rose."  In seconds he was on his   feet  holding me like an  infant. He changed the   subject quickly.

"If we stay here, their  going to  come looking for us." He  scanned around before he started to  walk  in a  certain  direction. "Where are we  going?" I  asked.

" We are   going  to  Sonic, and  Sally's  place."  he said as he  kept his eyes  forward. I  blinked and I  felt  tears   brim my eyes. 'That  bastard bullied  me after  Shadow  'died'. 

I  was alone, and   he took  advantage of  my   weak heart, along with  Sally.

I  cant  wait to see  their  faces when they see him.'

Shadow had  been walking for a while  now. I started to  wonder  what he  saw  in me. I  felt  on the first days with him.  How  much and so  fast they  went. How  he  was  always there for me.

But,   most importantly  how  showed me,  that  love is for everyone.  No one  is alone, and he showed me that. I Showed  myself that when I  kissed  his  lips  that  night. He  hadn't  left my  lips,  the  way they  moved in sync together. 

How  my  world  stopped  spinning at the  affection  he  showed me, I didn't do anything for him! He knew  I was  getting  hurt that night, and he came. 

 He  came and  risked his life  for me,  he  protected  me from  my worst  nightmare of a father.

Will I  be able to  help him like he has  helped me?  Will I  live to  see him again?  I hope I never will find out.

I was shaken from thoughts when he  started talking.  I  looked at him and  he looked  at me. "We're here, Ames." I  looked forward to a   house that was  well  built and  fancy. "This is  their  house?" I  looked at him and  frowned  looking away when I saw  his eyes. "What?"  he asked.
