What is a 'hero'?

Well, Alfred thought, a hero is someone who puts other's needs before theirs.

Which...

Is why I'll be the best hero to ever live!

----

Alfred smlied during the meeting. During every meeting. He had to. If he wasn't smiling, then someoen would notice, someone would get angry, or get weirded out. Because Alfred was America. Cocky, happy, egotistical America. He had to act happy, he had to act ignorant. If he didn't, who would they take anger out on? They needed him. He was the lightning rod, the superhero, the...

"Fatass!"

Alfred turned his attention to Arthur, the green eyed britt looking angier than usual. "You spilled my tea, git!"

Alfred lifted his elbow. In his zoned out time, he had accidentally spilt Arthur's tea. Alfred grinned wider, and said, "Sorry dude! Prolly' tasted bad anyways!"

"Blood hell, Alfred! Could you be any more stupid?"

"If he were, we wouldn't be yelling at him. He'd be too stupid to make it out of McDonalds, correct?" Ivan spoke up. Normally, when Ivan spoke, the whole meeting room got quite, but everyone burst out in laughter.

"Yeah, sure dude. You know I'm better than you, land dweller."

Ivan's cold eyes met his blue ones, and his smile widened. "Are you asking to start another--"

"Alright, alright! That's enough! Back to the meeting." Ludwig commnded, and everyone silanced.

As usual...

His smile wavered behind the burger he held in front of his face. It really hurt sometimes, to deal with all of this. Even Matthew laughed at him! Of all people, Alfred never thought his brother would be the one to laugh at him, and look him in the eyes while doing so.

Prolly' thinks I can't see him.

Matthew thought he was invisible. That noone saw him. It wasn't true. Alfred saw him, and loved him. He just didn't talk to his twin much, being Matthew was always angry, due to being mistaked for Alfred.

Kiku did laugh, but quietly, in a attempt to be nice. Even said, "N-no offence, Mr.Alfred-san, but it's true..!"

None taken.

'None.'
