LEE YEON HA's POV
"Whoa this is so nice" I exclaimed as I inhaled the air
"It had only been a month yet you talk as if you haven't been here for years" my friend said
Yes, we're back here in Korea and I didn't waste anytime and called my one and only bestfriend for us to meet up. We're currently in a park now enjoying the view and the air. It's Kai's monthly check-up and I was so happy I can get away from him even if it's just for a day.
"Was it just a month, it felt like it was 10 years"
"Why? Was it that bad living there?"
"The place is perfect and peaceful, I think I can even finish my on going novel there"
"Then what's wrong?"
"It's that idiot, I wasn't able to write anything at all this past month because of him. If he wasn't being an stupid ass he'll be satan's twin and order me around as if he's the high and mighty King of Joseon" I complained
"Do you mean Kai?" she asked giving me a teasing smile. I told her about it when I accepted the job and had sworn her to secrecy. We'd been friends since we're kids and I know that she'll keep it a secret.
"Yes. And please don't smile like that it's creeping me out" ever since I told her about this, from time to time she'd been pestering me about Kai and I falling in love with each other, that we're destined to be
"Why don't you talk to his mother and tell her to find a replacement" she suggested
"I've think of that but I can't do it, besides I promised her that i'll do my best to help. I have two months left to endure and I think I can survive it" I said dramatically
KAI's POV
"Whoa Kai hyung you came" Sehun said as he pretended to wipe a tear which supposedly fell on his cheek
"How have you been?" Suho hyung came and asked as he gave me a hug
"What did the doctor say?" Luhan hyung
"How many days are you going to stay here?"Tao asked
"Let's go try the food at the restaurant which recently opened around this block" Chanyeol hyung
"One at a time please" I said as looked at each of them happily. After the appointment with the doctor I came directly here at our practice room. Manager hyung said that the guys are here so instead of heading home I came here to see them.
"I've been well so far, the doctor said that my injury is mending well. We'll be going back tomorrow evening"
"We? So you came with your wife?" Baekhyun hyung inquired
"What wife?"
"He's referring to Ms. Yeon Ha" D.O hyung answered
"Her? My wife? Never, she's annoying and likes to nag. Can you imagine that, she called me an idiot, stupid, etc."
When I finished ranting every single one of them burst out laughing. WOW, it's nice to have friends who thinks your misery is a joke.
"I like her already hyung, she's brave enough to call you names" Sehun manged to say in between his laughter
"She must be immuned to your charms. EXO's dancing machine to be called an idiot by a girl is 대박 (amazing)" Chanyeol hyung teased while giving me a thumbs up
"That's enough guys" Suho hyung stopped them
"By the way, why don't I see Lay hyung,Kris hyung, Xiumin hyung and Chen hyung?" I asked changing the topic
"Oh, they attended some photoshoot. They'll be here later" Suho hyung answered
"Oh" was my only reply
"Are you sure you're okay?" Suho hyung asked while the other members are either resting or bickering
"I'm going to say i'm okay but i'll only be lying because the truth is i'm having a hard time but I can't just show that to you guys. I needed to be strong but just this once i'll be honest. It's frustrating because I wanted so much to go on concerts with you, to practice together just like we used to do but I can't because of this"
"Don't worry too much, take this time to rest and regain your energy. Once you fully recover you can dance once again until your heart's content"
"But hyung the doctor said I might not be able to dance as good as before even if my broken bone will mend"
"Don't think that way besides he said there's only little possibility of that happening right? So don't lose hope" he said encouraging me
"Thank you hyung" I said which he answered with a smile
