The Future Of Us- Zalfie

*Alfie's POV*

I was nervous for today. Zoe thought that we were going for dinner but I had invited our friends and family too.

I was putting on my shoes, when Zoe came in. She was wearing a short black dress with ankle length boots.

I was wearing a black suit and tie, along with black shoes.

"Look at us matching without planning." Zoe says, with a giggle.
I laugh a little, before saying,"You look beautiful."

Zoe blushes, before saying," You look handsome."

"Let's go, shall we?" I ask.

She simply nods her head. We walk out of our house and into our car.

We soon reach a restaurant named 'Bella Marie'. I park the car, before getting out.

Once we're in, we're led to a room. Once we entered, the room was dark. The person leading us switched on the light.

"SURPRISE!" People screamed and I giggled.

Zoe looked around and she started jumping up and down.

"Did you plan this?" She asked me. I nodded before heading to our friends.

In a corner, there was food. There was a dancefloor too. And the place had been decorated really nicely.

Soon we were dancing. The music stopped and we saw Zoe's dad standing with the mike.

He gave a little speech. And in the end, he concluded with,"oh, and look behind you. There's something that still hasn't been done."

She turns around and I'm standing there, nervous as hell.

"Uh. Zoe. Actually." I said, really really nervously.

I took a deep breath.

"Zoe, I don't know how to say this. I'm a hopeless piece of shit when it comes to love. I never thought I would find love let alone someone love me back. I'm so grateful for having you in my life."

"Since the day I met you, I knew you were different. And today, I've proven myself right. I love everything about you. I love the way you'll sing Christmas songs all year around. I love the way you're so happy in front of children. I love the way you smile. I love you, basically. And everything about you. And especially your face without makeup will always top that list."

"And I'm not just saying this because its our 4year anniversary. Its because I actually love you so so so much."

I look up at Zoe, and she has tears forming in her eyes.

"So, Zoe Elizabeth Sugg, I had decided on this thing. And what better time?"

I sat down on one knee and Zoe put one hand on her mouth and tears came out of her eyes.

"Zoe Sugg. Will you do the honors of being Mrs. Deyes?" I ask.

She nods her head, and I slide on the ring on her hand.

I get up, everyone cheering around us. I wipe the tears on her face, before kissing her.
