Chapter 2

Alex POV

~time skip 1 year later~

I woke up to Alexis, Jamie and Katie jumping on my bed with Bel laughing at them from the side.

"HAPPY BIRTHDAY ALEX!" all the girls yelled.

Oh yeah, it my birthday today.

"Thank you guys," I yawned sitting up. They were all dressed and ready.

So i got up and did the same, put on my pair of jeans a black shirt with the word, 'Vikkstar123' and my hoodie that said 'Sidemen XIX'.

I went downstairs where all the kids were, we started to head outside.

We went to a big tree, grabbed a sharp stone from a bush, and I found my name.

This was a tradition for us. We carved our name in the tree and would put a tally mark next to our names, every year on our birthday.

My name now has 11 marks.

All the kids cheered and hugged me. When all the little ones tan inside for breakfast, Bel stayed behind.

"Dont you want breakfast?" I chuckled.

"Yeah, but first, (let me take a selfie xD im srry i'll stay in 2016 now) here." She said and took out a little box from behind her. I took it from her and opened it.

I gasped, "Bel! You didnt have to get me a gift! How did you even afford this?" it was a necklace shaped like a heart with the date Bel, Riley and I met.

"Riley and I have been saving up money to get this for you." Bel said and sighed sadly, remembering Riley.

We havent seen her since she got adopted.

We both stayed silent while she helped me put on the necklace.

We walked inside, the headmistress handed me a plate with two waffles. We would get waffles on our birthday.

"Who wants some waffles?" I asked the table of other kids.

"Me!" all the little ones said.

I split a waffle into 3 pieces and gave them to Alexis, Jamie and Katie.

"Bel?" I asked turning towards her.

"Nah im fine, its your birthday." She said with a smile on her face and went back to eating her cereal.

I just nodded and started to eat the other waffle.

Josh POV

We were all in the kitchen eating and talking about the child that we plan on adopting. Thats right we're adopting, we already decided it would be a girl, but that's all we got.

"Okay, how old do you think she should be?" Vikk asked.

"Not a toddler, we arent that responsible, but not a teenager because that would be a little harder." JJ said.

"Yeah, how about between the ages of 9 and 12." Simin suggested.

We all agreed.

"What about personality wise?" I asked.

"I do-" Simon started but got cut off by the door bell.

"I'll get it!" I said getting up.

I opened the door ro see a woman in maybe her 30's standing there.

"Hello sir, my name is Erin and I was wondering if you would like to give a donation to my orphanage, Erin's Home for girls. There are 5 lovley girls there but the problem is we dont have money and the government wont help us." She said.

"Of course, I'll be right back." I said and jogged to the kitchen to get my wallet. Im not as heartless as too not donate to people who need it.

"Who's at the door?" JJ asked.

"The owner of an all girls orphanage." I said getting my wallet.

"What's she here for?" Vikk asked.

"Its a really poor orphanage, she's asking for donations."

With that i started my way back to the door.

I went up to her and gave her a £50 (I think thats the right symble, idk like i said before im an asian in America idk this shit xD if its wrong tell me)

"Oh my gosh! Thank you so much sir!" She said happily.

"No problem" I smiled.

"Hello, you are the owner of an orphanage, correct?" Simon asked Erin.

"That is correct sir." She said.

"Do you think we can adopt someone?" Vikk asked.

"Oh of course! If you are ready we can leave right now!" She said.

We all stared at each other.

"You wanna do it now?" I asked.

"Why not? We have the room ready, we can take her shopping tomorrow to." JJ stated.

"Ma'm how old are the girls you have in there?" I asked.

"Two 5 year olds, one 4 year old, a 10 year old and an 11 year old." She responded.

"You guys ready?" I asked them. They nodded and with that we left with Erin.
