Chapter 11

Alex POV

I was in the guest room with Josh, they all agreed we would get the guest room and share since he was my dad, just staring out the window while Josh sat on the bed looking through the duffle bag he brought.

"Alex?" Josh said.

I turned towards him.

"Here." he said and handed me a small wrapped box.

"What? You didnt have to get me anything!" I gasped.

"Just think of it as a Welcome To The Sidemen Family gift." He said.

I just stared at the box in my hands.

"Go on."

I started to slowly tear the wrapping.

"Oh my god. Josh you really didnt need to!" It was an iphone 6s.

"I wanted to. You're probably the best thing to have happened to us. We weren't doing so well before you came. We weren't talking to each other as much we were just basically drifting apart. Then we agreed on adopting you. And you just brought us back together. So thank you." Josh said as a tear went down his face.

I put the phone down carfully where I was sitting. Got up and hugged him.

We sat there just hugging until finally he let go of me. So i let go too.

"Thank you for that. Um... Anyways. Your phone already has all of our numbers including the Cals' and you're free to do whatever you want with it. Um.. Only rule is that you're not allowed to curse until you're 13." He said.

"Thank you Josh. For every thing you've done for me."

~time skip to morning~

I woke up to the sound of laughing from outside. So i got up from the bed and followed the laughing. There I found everyone laughing with two pieces of toast in their hands except for Josh who looked annoyed while putting two pieces of bread in the toaster.

I waited a little until the the toast was ready. Josh turned around to grab the butter and buttet knife.

This is my chance! I quickly snuck in and stole his toast from the toaster.

The guys tried so hard not to laugh. I sat down in between Cal (im calling Freezy Cal with one L and Callux Call with two Ls) and Ethan who both gave me a high five when I sat down.

Josh turned around and looked st the toaster.

"OH MY FUCKING GOD WHO DID IT THIS TIME!" He yelled clearly annoyed.

Everyone burst out laughing except me. I just sat there with a smirk while eating the toast.

"DAMN IT ALEX! I fucking quit! Im eating cereal!" He yelled again and grabbed cereal and a bowl.

"But first. Im gonna do this." He got up and came over to me. I had already finished the toast.

He started to tickle me, but little did he know, im not ticklish. (Fun fact I am not ticklish and my cousin is the only person that can tickle me and mke me laugh)

I smirked at everyone's confused face.

"Your not ticklish?" Ethan asked in disbelief.

"Nope! And you are?" I asked.

He nodded. So me being me, I started to tickle him.

"AHH NO!!" He laughed like a maniac and fell off his chair.

I kept tickling him. Everyone started laughing. I noticed Tobi get out his phone and started recording.

"NOOO PLEASE!!" Ethan kept laughing. After a good minute I stopped.

"Oh my god. That was torture." Ethan said breathing heavily while still on the ground.

After everyone (mainly Josh) was done eating we all moved to the living room.

"Okay Alex, so now we are going to help you with your music taste. He have a list of genres to go through so get comfortable." Harry said.

"So we know you like the song Stressed Out so lets start with that." Simon said.

~one hour later~

"Okay, there's only one genre left. And thats rock music." Call said.

We had gone trough so many genres from country to rap and I only like a few pop songs, but i only liked a few of them. Like 7 Years, Like Im Gonna Lose You, and Love Yourself. But i didnt like a lot of pop since most of them were love songs, and im not into that shit.

Like 5sos and One Direction are a no for me.

I also liked JJ's music, which I didnt know he made music so it was a surprise to me.

And finally I learned who made the song Stressed Out. Twenty Øne Piløts. I also like their music, though Stressed Out is still my favorite, Migrane is close behind.

"Okay, this is a band called My Chemical Romance and this song is called Ghost of You." Tobi said. (Fun fact 2 Ghost of You was my first ever MCR song)

After the song I thought about it. To be honest I kind of liked. Yeah its a love song but it's different than the pop loves song. The pop ones were so upbeat that you dont think they mean what they sing.

As of this song, it sound like the singer really means what he's saying.

"What do you think?" Vikk asked.

"I kind of like it." I said. They stared at me a little shocked.

"Um... Ok then. I guess, well lets loom at their other songs." Simon said still a little shocked.

From my knowledge they dont really like rock music (again dont know if this is true but just go with it) so im guessing this is why they were shocked.

A shit tone of songs later i learned I like this type of music.

From Pierce the Veil to Sleeping With Sirens to All Time low to Simple Plan and just many more, i love it.

Hey all you awesome sauce readers!

Im still very shocked im able to keep this up but hey. At least im getting some where.

I also think im just gonna rewrite ABTOIH to a Pack or Sidemen fanfic. Probably the Pack. But im not gonna rewrite it now, im gonna rewrite it in the summer when I have more time.
