So I asked you guys what you wanted me to write about on twitter. Most of you said a Write My Life. I thought that was a good idea, so here it is.

~Alex

I guess we'll start with when I was little.

When I was only 6 months old, my biological parents dropped me off  in front of Erin's Home For Girls with my birth certificate and a paper with some things about me like my ethnicity.

The orphanage was really poor. We only got a bowl of cereal a day, and on our birthday a plate of waffles. We had whatever was donated to us.

In the end, there was a total of 6 of us including me. Our headmistress would go door to door asking for donations and after a while we all got a pair of pants, two shirts, and a hoodie.

When I was 6 I met a boy named Matthew, we ended up being best friends. And to this day we are still friends.

And that's how I lived for the first 11 years of my life.

On my 11th birthday, I remember it so clearly, the headmistress came back with a group of 4 guys who said they wanted to adopt me.

Those 4 guys were Vikk, Josh, Simon, and JJ.

That was probably the best gift I've ever gotten, and it still is. When I was told this I was shocked, scared, nervous, and happy.

Shocked, because I grew up at that orphanage and now I would be leaving it. Scared, because I've never been out in the real world. All my life I've stayed at that orohanage. Nervous, because what if they didnt like me? What if they want to return me? What about Matthew? Will I ever see my best friend again? Happy, because this is my chance to be apart of a family.

I remember when we were on our way home. It was my first time in a car, and I was so amazed. The guys also wanted to know me so they asked questions.

But like I said, I havent been out in the real world, so I didnt know a lot. That's when they found out I was a clean slate. I havent found my personality yet.

They had me meet the rest of the Sidemen and the Cals and they all started to help me find my personality.

They introduced me to video games, to music, to football. Everything that I am now, is all because of them. Then came the dreaded day. My first day of school.

This wasnt any ordinary first day though, it was my first day of ever going to school. The headmistress taught me because we couldnt afford to go to an actual school.

So my first day, no one really recognized me so that was good. Then I saw my best friend. Turns out he goes to that school. And thank the lord because if it wasnt for him I would have been so lost and confused.

But then came the lessons. That's when I learned I was really behind on my education. I couldnt read big words, I didnt know what decimals and fractions were, I could barely write a whole paragraph. (And look at me now, I'm writing a section in a book xDD)

I felt so ashamed of myself. But the guys found out, and tried everything to help me. Vikk would help me with my Math homework and Simon would revise my essays. Josh and JJ would help me with detail.
