Chapter 16 (The Cure)

*Louis' POV*

*2 days later*

Caroline came back 2 hours ago and she's been ignoring me since. I wonder what really did happen between her and Josh really. I want to know! I walked into our shared room finding her wrapped up in a towel, her blonde hair falling messy on her shoulders. She was stunning, no Lou focus.

"What happened between you and Josh really?" I asked looking at her and her facial expression fell from happy to expressionless.

"Nothing, I told you. Nothing happened" She said not even looking at me and I knew she was lying.

"Carrie! What did REALLY HAPPEN?!" I yelled the last part.

"STOP YELLING AT ME! YOU scare me" She almost whispered the last part.

"I don't care right now Caroline! Please tell me the truth or I'll ask him" I said now getting really mad at her.

"I kissed him..." The words came out as a whisper and her eyes met mine. My heart broke into millions of pieces. How? What? Why?

"Why?" I almost couldn't speak. I was speechless.

"I wanted to know if I still had feelings for him..."

"And?"

"I have. I still love him Lou but I love you more. I promise" She walked closer to me and placed her hand on my cheek.

"Don't touch me!" I said pushing her hand off my cheek.

"Why do you do this to me?" Her voice was so fragile so innocent.

"I shut people out, that's what I do Caroline. You can't control me plus you've hurt me."

"I'm sorry"

"You don't mean it I can see that in your eyes. You never loved me did you..." I said the last part all to myself and she couldn't hear me.

"What?"

"YOU NEVER LOVED ME! YOU JUST FELT ALONE AND YOU USED ME! I'VE BEEN THRU THIS BEFORE! I GET USED AND THEN THEY LEAVE!" I yelled at her and then I leaved her without saying anything more. Why? How could she do this to me? I felt the tears fall down my cheeks and I walked into Harry. He's the only one understanding me now.

"Hey mate" I said as I sat on the side of the bed.

"What's up? You're not sounding like normal" His voice was so weak still he cared so much.

"Caroline kissed Josh" I said and the tears fell down my cheeks.

"Hey Louis don't, she still care about-"

"No Harry, all she care about is herself. Since I turned her she's so different. Everything about her personalities disappeared, she's not the same girl I fell in love with. She's not Carrie anymore" I said as I placed my face in my hands and I felt Harry's hand on my back.

"It's okay Lou, just let your feelings out"

His words always make me feel secure. He's an amazing friend, it's the same with Lana. They both take me down back on earth when my mind is somewhere else or when I'm not myself. I hope Lana's alright. Her, Zayn, Niall and Rexi are out looking for all the things for the cure to Harry. I hope they're fine.

*Lana's POV*

Me and Zayn were running ahead Niall and Rexi. I had only 12 hours left before Harry would be nothing but ashes. We had all thing except for one witch hazel. We haven't seen a single one yet and we're almost Scotland. C'mon can't we just find it!

"I'm starting to lose hope Zayn" I said as I slowed down.

"Don't! We're gonna find it and Harry will be fine. Don't loose hope"

"Promise"

"I promise"

He took my hand and we came to a house. It was old and scary. A woman came from around the house. She was old and her hair was white as snow.

"Excuse me lady, do you know where we can find some witch hazel?" Zayn asked and Niall and Rexi came too.

"Oh... you need witch hazel. Come with me children" She said and we all four followed her inside the old house. She picked out a jar filled with dried herbs.

"Here you go child, the last witch hazel in England"

"Last in England?" Zayn asked looking at her weirdly.

"Yes child, it's the last. Witch hazel is the most powerful herb in supernatural history. Many vampires used it to heal themselves when they got bitten by werewolves but it didn't work. Many many young people like you have been here asking for it but I haven't given it to anyone except you. I know you have someone you really love that needs to be cured. That's why I give it to you, use it safely" The woman said and then se was gone, just like that. Weird.

We start to run back as fast as we could and finally after two hours we were home. Now we only had 10 hours to make the cure or else I won't see him again. We walked into the library where we had all the other things and Zayn took my arm and led me over to the table.

"Okay, you ready?" He asked looking at me filled with worry.

"Yes yes I'm ready. Just do it" I said and he placed the knife on my wrist. Slowly he pressed the knife thru my skin and blood start pouring out. I let out a moan just cause its hurt like hell.

"You okay?" He asked.

"Yeah"

He took out a cup and my blood pored into it. Then he placed a towel onto it and pressed so the bleeding. Soon enough it stopped and he gave the cup to Rexi. Niall and her made the cure. I walked out of the room and I saw Caroline sitting in the kitchen crying.

"Care? What's wrong?" I asked stroking her back.

"No, Louis is mad at me"

"Why?"

"I kissed Josh and I tr-"

"Carrie no, you didn't. How could you Louis loves you with all his heart and you kiss your ex! You know what I don't even wanna talk about this cause my boyfriend is dying and if you're gonna feel sorry for yourself then you can just leave and go cuddle with Josh. I don't wanna see you right now" I said and I walked into mine and Harry's bedroom only to find Louis and Harry talk.

"Hi" I said and the I sat on the other side of the bed.

"How's with the cure?" Louis asked.

"It'll be done in an hour" I said and Louis' eyes wandered to my wrist. Harry looked at me and I saw worry in his eyes.

"What happened with your wrist?" Harry said in worry.

"It's a part of the cure..." I said and Louis looked at me like 'you need to tell him'

"What?" Harry's voice was so weak.

"The blood from the duppleganger is the most important thing in the cure. I'm the newest duppleganger I have the freshest blood. I did it even if I'm getting sick in the process" I breathed out and Harry's brows furrowed.

"Why would you do that?" He said taking my hand in his.

"Cause I love you"
