"Shawn!" I yelled, running out of my room and down the stairs. I started freaking out when I couldn't find Shawn or Dylan. I could care less if Dylan got hurt but, Dylan is very strong and taller than Shawn and I don't want him to get hurt.

"Hey! I need to talk to you I-" Colton started but I cut him off.

"Not now, have you seen Shawn?" I said, looking all around.

"That's actually what I wanted to talk to you about." He said and I heard someone outside say there was a fight. I pushed Colton out of the way and rushed outside to see both boys fighting each other. Pushing everyone out of the way, I finally made it to both of them. To my surprise, Dylan was on the ground and Shawn was beating the shit out of him. Shawn had a bloody lip though so I knew Dylan got a few punches in.

"Stop!" I yelled and grabbed Shawn's arms from behind as Colton ran up with Devon and Ian. Shawn's arms literally felt amazing.

"Get him out of here." I said in a low voice. Colton gave me a look asking what had initially happened between the two.

"Now!" I said and all three of them picked him up and escorted him outside.

I grabbed Shawn's arm and started pulling him up the stairs.

"It's alright! Everyone dance!" I heard Ian yell as he turned up the music even louder.

We made it to my room and I angrily shut the door while forcefully sitting him on the bed. I was so pissed with him right now.

"Adds look I-" He said but I interrupted him.

"Shut the hell up. You promised you wouldn't do anything." I said, anger laced throughout my words.

"He hurt you! He tried to take advantage of you and you're just going to stick up for him?" He said and I rolled my eyes. Stick up for someone like him? Is he serious?

"No, dumb ass, I didn't want you to fight him because I didn't want YOU to get hurt. Now look at you. You have a busted lip and a cut on you face for what. To show how strong you are?"

"I did it because he needs to learn not to take advantage of beautiful, innocent girls like you." He said. My cheeks heated up at the fact he called me beautiful but it soon faded.

"You promised, Shawn." I said, quietly. He looked down.

"I wanted to make him pay for what he did." He said and I briefly smiled.

"As pissed off as I am at you, " I said, pulling a chair next to the bed so I could sit in front of him, "Thank you." He smiled.

"Well ya know. I'm amazing." He said and I pushed his shoulder.

"Cocky's back." I said and he smirked. I walked over to my bathroom and grabbed our first aid kit. You ever have those days where you feel like a mom? Yeah, that's right now.

"Here." I said, getting out the rubbing alcohol to disinfect his cut on his lip, "This might sting." I said, applying it to his lip. He winced for a moment, closing his eyes, but then he relaxed a bit. Shawn's breath danced across my face and I could literally hear my own heartbeat. The fact that Shawn's lips are centimeters away from mine send a shiver down my spine. The good kind.

"This tastes terrible." He said, making a sour face.

"Don't taste it dumbass." I said and he chuckled.

"Why do I feel like that's my new name?" He chuckled.

"Because you've earned it." I smirked as he started humming Earned It by the Weeknd.
