~Adeline's POV~

"Okay everybody!" Colton started. We were all in the living room waiting for Ava to walk through the door. Jason, Ethan and Aiden were sitting across from me on the grey L shaped couch, playing on their phones. Josh was seated on the love seat by himself with a bowl of pretzles in his lap while Logan was seated on the arm of the love seat. I was seated on the couch that's only meant for two, but there was three of us sitting there; Shawn to my left and Jackson to my right.

"Listen! Ava is going to be here any moment now and we need to make sure that everything is perfect becaus-"

"Yes, yes, we know Colton." Aiden said, cutting him off. "You guys are sooo excited to finally express your undenying physical love of which you haven't been able to express due to the fact that she was in a different country." He finished.

"Exactly!" Colton said, extending his hands. "That's why it's such a big-"

"Hello?" We heard a small female voice from the entry way speak. Everyone turned their attention towards Colton.

"What." He whispered. I smacked my face as he stood there confused.

"Go get her." I smirked as he ran towards the entry way.

"AVA!" We heard Colton yell followed by a frail scream and some giggles. All of us were just waiting in the living room for them to bust through full of smiles but, a couple of minutes went by and they weren't there.

"I think I know where they went, if ya know what I mean." Ethan said, nudging Jason in the side while winking.

"Shut up thats my brother dammit!" I said, holding my hands to my ears. I could feel Shawn chuckle next to me which made me warm up inside. I looked up to him and he winked at me, causing me to roll my eyes playfully even though it made me physically weak in the knees.

"I'll get em'." Josh said, standing up from the couch before he dissapeared into the entry way.

"You know, " Shawn whispered in my ear, "That could be us, but you playin'." He said so low that I could physically feel his voice vibrate. My face heated up to where Aiden raised an eyebrow at me from across the room. He mouthed 'you two?' to me and I shook my head no frantically.

"I can't find them." Josh said, walking back into the room. I exhaled lightly before standing up, walking into the entry way to see that they weren't there.

"Dammit if I find them doing the nasty I'm going to stab my heart out." I mumbled to myself before walking into the kitchen.

"Not there." I said, walking back out of the kitchen and then into the entry way again. I peaked my head out the window and I saw Ava leaning against her car with her head in her hands.

"Ava!" I yelled, jumping down from the stairs and across the grass towards her car. The closer I got I noticed that she was crying and that's when I panicked.

"What happened?!" I asked grabbing her shoulder as she lightly sobbed.

"Colton." She managed to say inbetween sobs.
