~Adeline's POV~

"Shit! I knew this was gonna happen! I told everyone! Didn't I!" I looked up to the door and saw that Mae had arrived. She was prancing around, talking to every customer in here. My god.

"I told her." She said to an older lady who was seated more towards the front of the store. "I told her and she didn't believe me." She continued before I stood up and stopped her.

"Mae! Shut the hell up!" I said, covering her mouth with my hand. She licked it but I didn't pull away. I could practically feel the germs crawling on my skin from her saliva.

"Get off me." She mumbled through my hand or at least I think that's what she said. She kept squirming in my grip and it caused people to stare. I mean, not like they weren't staring before.

"Only if you'll calm down." I said and she nodded. I let go of her and wiped her gross saliva on my skinny jeans. She stood there with a huge smile on her face and I couldn't help but roll my eyes.

"Go sit down I'll order for us." I said, ignoring her stupid expression while walking up to the register.

Mae and I come here a lot. At least two to three times a week so we pretty much know everyone that works here. Right now, Aiden is working, which is one of the guys on Coltons team and, one of the guys Mae wants to fuck.

"Well hello Miss Causley." Aiden said with his charming smile. Aiden is about 6'4 with blondish-brown hair, bright blue eyes, and a dazzling white smile. If it wasn't for the fact that he's a fuck boy, I'd be on that so quick.

"Hey Aids." I said, causing his co-worker to stifle a laugh. Aiden looked to me with a pissed off look.

"Oh, how I hate that nickname." He said, still keeping his work-friendly smile.

"I know you hate it but you love me." I said, waving my hand in the air. He shrugged his shoulder while nodding his head yes.

"What can I get for you darling?" He said in a southern accent, earning a strange look from me.

"Aiden, I come here all the time. Do you not know what I like yet?" I said, cocking my hip to the side while crossing my arms. Aiden smirked while looking to his feet.

"Well lets see. It's currently," He paused looking at the clock, " 6:37 p.m. which means that you want an iced green tea, a sweet tea, smoked turkey brie and apple panini and a chicken philly sandwich, with no peppers." He said, listing off Mae's and my order perfectly. I smirked.

"Good job. Here, have a stick of gum." I said, digging in my purse for a stick of spearmint gum.

"Spearmint?" He questioned, taking it.

"Of course." I said. He silently fist pumped the air causing me to laugh.

"Alright. Your order will be right out." He smiled, typing away on his computer. I turned around to find Mae intently staring at him. She was seated in the back corner of the cafe on the red and orange booth, next to the fire place. There were some cute green plants on either side of the corner booth and picture frames of the family who owns the restaurant. This is where we always sit.
