Alright here's chapter 20!!!!

So life officially sucks. Shawn has been gone for almost three weeks now and I've hated every second of it. Everyone at school sucks. Mainly because Candice is strutting along the hallways saying that her and Shawn hooked up at our party that happened two fucking months ago. Oh, and exams are starting tomorrow too so that's super exciting.

"Ugghh!" I exclaimed, slamming my pre-calc book on the desk in my room. I have three exams tomorrow and I am not prepared for any of them. Why the hell do we even have exams? Like if I fail it's not like it's gonna hold me back from not graduating. Well..

My phone lit up from underneath all my papers. I frantically tried to find it and in the process, spilt my glass of water all over the floor.

"Fuck." I whispered as I finally found my phone. Mae's stupid face was on the screen.

"Hey, you're not gonna want to hear this." Mae spoke from the other side of the phone.

"Then why are you telling me." I held the phone between my shoulder and ear so I could clean up the spilt mess.

"Okay, well....Shawn has a girlfriend." The phone fell. What? Girlfriend? I could hear Mae speaking through the phone so I grabbed it and held it up to my ear again.

"What?" I asked, confused and frusturated. Three weeks and he already found someone?

"Look at the link I just sent you." She said as I quickly opened out text messages and clicked on the little blue link. Sure enough, there was a picture of Shawn with some blonde girl. They were standing side by side, his arm around her, him smiling, it made me sick.

"I gotta go." I hung up so I can invesitigate more. After some digging I found out that her name is Lacy, she has long blond hair, a perfect fucking body, big boobs, and pretty much everything I dont have.

So this is great. Another thing to add to the list of why my life sucks. I can't stop thinking about it. Tears threatened to leave my eyes but I didn't bother. Why am I even crying? Oh yeah, maybe because I swallowed my feelings because shawn deserves so much better than me. And he's already found it.

"No use in staying up all night, crying about something that never was." I mumbled to myself as I closed all my books and crawled into the comfort of me bed. I laid there restless for about two hours, thinking about Shawn with that girl. Why were you so stupid?

Well I'm pretty sure that I just failed almost all of my exams. The only exam I didn't fail was my english one, and thats because it's an essay based on an opinion and they can't fail me for that. All I can do is think about Shawn Mendes. That little asshole won't leave my thoughts and it's driving me insane. After every question I had on an exam I though of him. It's driving me insane.

"Ads?" Mae was frantically waving her hand in front of my face.

"Uh- Sorry." I mumbled before blinking my eyes rapidly trying to escape the parallel universe I was just in. Mae stood there wide eyed as if she had just seen a ghost. Kids were walking towards their lockers, grabbing all the shit they were taking home for break, which was like, nothing.

"Stop thinking about it," She yelled, earning some stares from others walking by. I shushed her as she rolled her eyes.

"Look I-"

"Dont give me that shit that you aren't good enough. Because you are. Dammit, Shawn is the one who isn't good enough." She paused, holding her hand over my mouth so I wouldn't speak. "You're smart, beautiful, hot, sexy-"

"Okay, okay, I get it." I laughed.

"All I'm saying is, don't sell yourself short. If you like a guy, grab him by the balls and take him." My eyes grew wide as our Physics teacher just walked by. He stumbled into another group of students as he was walking away from us. What a loser.

"I can't actually grab him by the balls. "

"Not with that attitude." She smirked. I rolled my eyes as my face flushed with heat. Dammit Ads stop being so innapropriate. Mae flipped her hair over her shoulder and strutted towards the door as I held my ground.

"Come on. Let's go out." She smirked before leaving through the side door in a flash.

"Ah- uh, Mae I don't think-"

"Im thinking right about here." Mae cut me off, pointing to just above my boob. We were at the hair salon in the mall and Mae said that whenever you have a breakup, you need to get your hair done. Not sure if I agree with her logic..

"Yes! Perfect. And also can we-" She started to whisper and I started freaking out. Can we? Can we what?

"Yes. That'll look so cute on her." The stylist said. Mae frantically clapped her hands and I felt mine start to sweat. Linda, or whatever the stylist's name was placed a black shiny apron on my chest as she began to wash my hair. Mae started snapping a video of me saying things like, 'who's this new bitch?' Oh well. Hopefully Shawn doesn't think it's because of him I'm doing this. Well, to be honest its because of Mae.

"Hold your head still sweetheart." Linda said, pushing my head down forcefully.

"Mae I'm gonna kill you." I groaned against my chest. I heard her snicker. What a bitch.

"You're gonna love it." She mumbled, her phone against her mouth. I rolled my eyes because that was the only thing I could do at this point.

Before I knew it, this bitch Linda is putting some white goop in my hair. Oh hell no.

"Whoa, whoa what are you doing?" I asked, pulling my head away. I was not prepared for this.

"I'm -"

"Shhh...she's doing her job, Ads." Mae interrupted her while slamming my body against the chair, flipping a piece of my now goop covered hair in my mouth.

"Are you kidding me? This is bleach!" I started freaking out, spitting it out of my mouth. If this hoe is gonna make be a beach blond I-

"Relax girl live a little." Mae said, walking around the chair to get a better angle. I gave her the death glare in the mirror and she just smiled. What a bitch.

Two whole hours later, Linda finally finished curling the last strand of hair.

"Okay! I'm done!" She clapped her hands together as she grabbed the back of my chair, ready to spin it.

"Are you ready?" She smiled, looking into my soul.

"I guess." I smirked as she spun the chair. The chair stopped in front of the mirror and I had full focus of my appearance. My once mid-back length hair was now right above my chest. My hair started off as brown in the roots then slowly grew into blonde hair as it reached the tips. I kept grabbing at the ends of my hair, amazed at how much I like this.

"Holy shit" I mumbled to myself. Shit. I'm hot.

"I know right?" Mae said, placing one hand on her hip.

"Thank you." Linda said, grabbing all of the brushes and what not before walking off.

"Told ya." Mae smirked. I only laughed.

"I love this."

"Come on. Part two of my master plan to get you your confidence back."

"Wait, there's a part two?" Before I knew it, she had already paid and I was out the door, onto the next adventure. Good lord help me.
