Diamond Light (Slowly being edited)

Chapter 1

I was having a very strange but cool dream when Jason wakes me up by shaking my shoulder. "Get up sleepy head. You said we'd all go mining today." He reminds me, yelling excitedly despite the close proximity to my ears. "Is she up yet?" I hear Sierra call from downstairs. I hear Emma yelling at Tbnr and Ender to get inside or they'd not get food not too long after. I groan and roll out of bed. "I'm up. Go downstairs before I throw a book at you like last time Jason." I say as Jason flees downstairs to avoid getting hit. I hurriedly change and head downstairs before anyone can reek havoc in my kitchen. Me and my friends end up spending the next few hours fussing over breakfast, which kept getting delayed because of something happening. An hour after we were finally able to eat, we're all ready to go. "So does everyone have what they need?" Emma asks once we gather outside my house. Before anyone could answer, Sierra bolts down the path to the cave.

Tbnr runs over seconds later without answering the question either . "We got everything Emma. Let's get going." Ender semi yelled as she caught up to Sierra and Tbnr. "We better get over there before they decide to run in ahead of use again. We have the diamond magnet so I guess they won't find all the goods anyways." Jason said. "Ya sure." I reply as me, Emma, and Jason reach the entrance to the cave just as the others race inside. We saw the others waiting nearby."Let's get a move on guys! Hurry!" Tbnr yells from further down the cave system. Emma rolls her eyes because of Ender running ahead to place a torch. We spend half the day mining iron, coal, gold, and the occasional vein of diamonds.

"Guys hurry! I found more diamonds." I yell as I start going to the door leading to the almost perfectly square room they were in." Kitty wait. I think that's where Herobrine lives.." Ender says, looking from the door to me. Everyone else catches up with me and Ender. "I saw movement. He must be home." Tbnr whispers, staring hard at the door. Jason pulls out a shovel and hands it to me. " Me and Sierra will lure him out. You knock Hero out with that shovel. The rest of you hide." I start to protest when Emma shoves me over next to the doorway. I hear Sierra and Jason yell as loud as they could. Herobrine walks out immediately to see what was making the noise. " What the heck are you both doing making a ruckus near my door?" He asks them, from what I can tell, glaring as well. I sneak up behind him, raise the shove, and last thing Hero heard before impact was sorry. I pull him inside his home and to his bed, closing the door quietly.

We all walk back to my home without a word. I whip some food together for us all. We all settle down at the table once the plates had the food and the utensils placed. "So why did you make Kitty knock Hero out?" Emma says pointedly at Jason. He stays silent for a moment before answering. "I panicked. Besides with that blow, he may not remember us." Jason says as he focuses on his plate. I roll my eyes at the thought that would be a possibility. As I get up to refill my cup, I realize that my jacket is missing from where I had it around my waist. "Have any of y'all seen my jacket?" I ask after sitting down again. The others mutter they hadn't seen it since we were in the cave earlier. I shrug and start telling everyone a story I heard from Markus when knocking was soon heard at the front door.

Emma, Jason, and Sierra continue to eat while Ender and Tbnr look a tad startled that someone was at the door at such a time. After a few more moments, I get up and walk over to my front door. "I'll get it. Thanks for the help." I say sarcastically as I open the door. Herobrine was outside holding my jacket. "Is this your jacket?" He asks me. "Yes it is. Thank you for returning it." I reply with a smile.  "Does he remember what me and my friends did?" I wonder to myself as I take my jacket. A few diamonds fall out of my jacket pocket. "Wonder where these came from." I say as I pick them up. Everyone was watching from the living room at that point.

"I thought you'd like them since I saw you and your friends in the mines before." Hero replies, smiling. "Thanks again. It seems like it may rain, I have an extra room if you want to stay the night." I say, seeing the mass of dark clouds gathering in the sky above. "That'd be great. Thanks.. again." He said as he walks in. I motion for Hero to sit on the couch as I walk into the kitchen. "I think we should all be going. See ya tomorrow Kitty." Emma says as she and the gang take off. I shrug at Hero after the I shut the door behind Ender. I end up cleaning the small mess the others left in the living room.

"Come on, I have some left over food from dinner you could have." I say, leading him into the kitchen. "Thanks. You don't mind me staying here for a few days do you?" Hero asks after taking a seat with his food. I smile at him from the fridge as I finish putting away what I had left out earlier. "I don't mind at all. But if I may ask. Why do you want to stay closer to town? I thought you like your privacy." I ask curiously as I take a seat in the chair across from him at the kitchen table."Well I for some reason have a blank in my memory. I can't remember what happened between getting to my home in the mine-shaft and when I woke up in my bed. I was planning on seeing the doctor in town." He replies.

I nod my head in response, not wanting to tell him about what had transpired. Once Hero finished eating and helping clean the dishes, I show Hero to his room. As I am walking to my bedroom, Hero grabs my wrist and gently pulls me back. "Sorry if I startled everyone earlier." He apologizes , looking a bit down I the dumps. I shrug and smile. "It's fine dude. Nothing to worry about." I reply, holding a few books from the table downstairs. "Goodnight Kitty." Hero says as he shuts the door behind him to go sleep. "Goodnight." I say. I go to my room and stay up till midnight reading a book I like. I wake up the next morning to what smells like an amazing breakfast, making me wonder whether it was Hero or one of the group in the kitchen. I change and run downstairs to see everyone except for Herobrine sitting at the table, food already set in on the kitchen counter. Ender motions for me to come get some food before I sit down.

Half way in I hear Emma say, "Kitty we need to talk."
