Chapter 19

I drift in and out of dreams when two voices start whispering nearby. I force my eyes open enough to notice that I am back in Herobrine's bed at his house. Herobrine walks in not too long after with Mark in tow. "Hey. How are you feeling?" Mark asks as Herobrine sits on the edge of the bed. "I'm feeling better. Do you guys know what made me black out?" I ask as I sit up straight. Herobrine looks over at Mark, clearly worried about whether to say what happened or not. "Well what I saw was a creature the size of a small cat run away from you after you had collapsed. I brought you here and told Mark. We been thinking about what it is and how it's tied to your black out for the past week." He said worried.

I stare at them both dumbfounded. "I was out for a whole week and no body knew what to do?!" I say, freaking out a little now. Mark shakes his head. "Only me and Herobrine knew you were out. We didn't want people freaking out or crowding you while you were out." He says as I lay my head on Herobrine's shoulder. "Great another mystery to solve. Just to cross this out, either of you have psycho shape shifters in your families?" I ask. They both laugh as they shake their heads. We start talking about what to do when someone knocks at Herobrine's front door. "I'll get it." Mark says, half way to the door. A minute later, Emma and the others come in. "So this was where have been hiding. We were all worried when you didn't show up at the mine entrance." Jason says.

Sierra looks at my hand and squeals, making everyone jump. "Sierra why'd you do that in my ear?!" Jason half yells. "Sorry. I am just excited is all. Look at Kitty's left hand." Sierra says as Jason, Emma, Ender, Tbnr, and Jane gather around me. "When did he propose? Forget that when did you two start dating?!" Emma says, freaking out as Ender, Tbnr, and Jane squeal a little. "It's a long story. Let's talk about it later. Besides, is my house done being repaired?" I ask as Jason tries not to freak out as much as Emma. "They just finished this morning. If your feeling up to it, we can head over." Tbnr says. "Well let's get over there!" I say as I get up. We get our stuff together and head out of the cave.

As we get half way down the path, I hear the breaking of glass behind me. I turn around to Herobrine having been turned into a puppy again. I shake my head and pick him up. "Ender why do you have all all these animal potions?" Jason asks. Ender shrugs as we get to my rebuilt house. "It looks amazing!" I yell as Herobrine leaps out of my arms and starts running around the outside of the house. "Let's check out the inside." I say as I run over to the door. The others follow behind me as I run inside. Everyone walks into the kitchen to get a drink as I go to the stairs. As I put my foot on the first step, I hear yelling and someone being thrown into the wall behind me.

I whirl around to see a would be assassin having his hands tied behind him by Mark. "Let's get him to the police station before he tries anything else." Jason says as we walk outside, where Herobrine rejoins us. As we get to the station, the assassin chuckles. "What'd you think is so funny, eh?" Emma says, glaring. The assassin just shakes his head as we reach the police station. We hand him over and start going back to my house. Half way down the road, the potion on Herobrine wears off. "Well then. I thought it was going to last longer." Herobrine says. We are a few feet away from the house when a arrow flys out of the forest nearby. Before I could react, I have been pushed out of the way of the arrow. I feel the warmth leave my face as I realize who took the arrow.

"Herobrine!?" I scream as Mark runs over to the two of us. Me and Mark get Herobrine to my house as Emma and the others head to the forest to find the culprit. When we get him to a bed, Mark starts getting medical supplies together due to the fact of that the arrow had hit Herobrine in the chest. I get up to grab some water so neither of the guys see me cry when Herobrine grabs my wrist lightly. "Kitty... don't cry. Everything will be fine." He says, smiling gently even though the injury must hurt a lot. "I'll try not too." I say as I hold the tears back.
