Chapter 24

We stared at the new comers in confusion. "Who exactly do you three want that it was so important to bust in anyways?" I ask, my expression changing from confusion to rage. Two of the three back up when we all stand up with our hands on our swords. The two who backed up run out the door when I throw a glare their way. The leader stood his ground with his hand on his own sword. "I came to get Herobrine. And if he and his girl put a fight up, bring her as well." He said with fake confidence. Jane rolls her eyes as Ender, Tbnr, Sierra, and Jason circle around him, making it impossible for the man to escape without trying to fight any of us. "So who sent you, ya nut." Jason asks while the man looks around at the group. "Notch and Steve's boss of course." The man said smugly. Sierra and Ender glare as they grab him, having Tbnr and Jason tie the man's arms up. I go over, grab the man's sword, and walk to the door. "Let's get this guy to the police station. I have two cloaks in the hall closet that me and Kitty can use." Herobrine says.

We agreed due to the fact that nether me nor Herobrine wouldn't let them go without us. Ender leads us to town after me and Herobrine pull the cloaks on, tugging the hoods over our heads enough to cover our eyes. We get the man to the police station and back to my house before our group could be noticed by anyone. We walk inside my living room to notice Emma and Mark sitting on the couch waiting for us already. "Dealt with that group's leader already I see." Mark says. Jason nods as he, me, Herobrine, Jane, Tbnr, and Sierra sits down. Ender bounds out of the room and down to where my brewing room is. We all chat about what we're going to do about other people attacking us for thirty minutes when Ender comes running back into the room, holding a potion. "Dude what is that?" Emma asks suspiciously. Ender walks over to me holding the potion over the ground in between my feet. "You'll see." She says, giggling.

She drops the potion at my feet, a flash fills the room, and I end up being smaller than I am. "Whelp dunno how this'll help us, but Kitty does make a cute baby chicken." Herobrine says as I let out a few chirps. Mark starts to get up when Jason jumps up like someone lit his chair on fire. "Hey Emma, can I ask you something outside before I go home?" He says nervously. "Uh sure." Emma says as the two walk outside. I start clucking like crazy while Ender and Tbnr get dinner going. thirteen minutes later, Emma barges in through the door like she did this morning. "Emma what the heck!" Sierra says as I cluck even crazier. Emma walks to where she was sitting and flops down. "Jason.. asked me out." Emma mutters. Mark looks like he was going to go drag Jason back in the house. "He what?" Mark asks. Emma looks at her dad. "He asked me out before he left." She said again. Ender looks around the corner. "Kitty, I owe you three diamond blocks." Ender says as she goes back to help Tbnr. Emma, Mark, and Sierra look at me and Herobrine. "You and Ender bet on whether Jason was going to ask Emma out?" Sierra asks.

I let out a content peep. "Well it was me, Kitty, Tbnr, and Ender have. Me, Ender, and Tb lost soo Kitty gets three diamond blocks each." Herobrine says. The room goes quiet until someone knocks on the door. "I got it!" Herobrine says, jumping up so that no one asks anymore questions. He opens the door and steps aside to let Jason and his mother Alice in. "Hey g- is that baby chicken Kitty?" Alice asks upon looking around. "Yes. Ender dropped a potion again." Sierra says. Mark grab two chairs from the kitchen to sit Jason and Alice. "So I heard something about Herobrine the other night, then I have Jason asking Emma out sprung on me while he was running up to his room. Is this true?" Alice asks Mark while the rest of us sit together, waiting to see whether Mark explodes or not. "It's true. Everyone in this room can attest to this. Well Kitty can when she's human again." Mark says, taking it better than we all thought. "Ok. Well we will discuss what will happen with the date later. On to my other question, Why is Herobrine here!?" Alice nearly yelled. Everyone shushes her as Jason and Sierra explains what happened leading up to this moment.

As the two gets to what happened the yesterday, the potion conveniently wears off; turning me back to normal. "Well since Kitty's herself again, she can explain what happened leading up till now." Sierra says, walking into the room with lemonade I made three days earlier. "Alright. What happened was this. Yesterday, Herobrine was stabbed by some half wit intruders who can't hold a sword straight. That night his parents ghosts appeared while we were talking, we all went to Herobrine's house today, got told by a kid some group is looking for both Herobrine and me, we got attacked by three guys who weren't very good at standing their ground, and then this whole dating situation with Emma and Jason happened. Simple." I say as I take a drink. "That was very blunt." Jason says staring at me. I just shrug. "Well we all better get to bed. You two want to join us all for breakfast tomorrow Alice?" Tbnr asks before Alice and Jason leave. "That sounds nice. See you all then." Alice says as she and Jason head home.

"So you don't mind if I use the guest room Jason usually uses right?" Jane asks as the group disperses to go to bed. "Not at all. He usually sleeps on the couch anyways." I say, which made Jane giggle. Me and Herobrine walk into the bedroom to get ready when someone knocks on the front door again. "I got it Herobrine. Wait here." I say, darting downstairs. I open the door to Katrina, the local blacksmith. "Can I come stay the night Kitty? My parents kicked me out of the house before I could get one of my own." She says sadly. "Alright. But promise me this; Once you enter this house, you don't tell anyone what goes on inside or who stays here. Alright?" I say. Katrina nods yes and comes inside. "Your lucky Jason isn't here or else all of the guest rooms would've been taken. Just go down that hall and to the right." I say as I direct Katrina to the last guest room. "Thanks Kitty. Good night." She says before closing the door. I walk back up, get into my sleep shirt and shorts, and go to sleep with Herobrine.
