Only The Start

The Next Day~ 

Sooyoung's POV 

The sun shone so brightly in my eyes that I could barely open them. I tossed and turned in the small twin bed hoping that my alarm clock could magically just turn itself off. "Gah! Why does school have to start so early!" I shouted. 

Ten minutes passed before my body finally alerted itself of having to wake up, "Crap! I'm going to be late!" I quickly rolled out of the bed and started running towards the bathroom. Little did I know however, that my legs soon gave out from laying down too long sending me crashing down to the ground. "Owie, aish I'm going to be late!" I stood back up and headed towards the bathroom to pamper up. 

After brushing my teeth, I changed and went over to the cabinets in kitchen to grab a box of cereal to take with me on the way to school. When I exited the apartment room I bumped into the landlord, "Sorry, Miss Shinyoung I'm in a bit of hurry!" 

She waved her hand away, "It's all right Hanna-shi. Now get to school or you'll be late!" 

"Bye!" I yelled before running down the flight of stairs. I was lucky to have Miss Shinyoung running the apartments. It was because of her I was able to stay here for free as long as I helped her around the apartments. I told her that I was a relative of the Choi family and that I had come to help them in their troubles. Miss Shinyoung had compassion and allowed me to stay. 

I was still running as I turned around the corner to my school. The guard greeted me as he tipped his hat. It felt like I had been running a marathon before I reached the level of where my class was located. 

Right as I entered the room the bell rang and both the teacher and students turned to me, "Glad you made it on time Miss Hanna. Now, please take your seat." He said as he pointed to an empty seat.

I bowed, "Yes sir" I then preceded to my desk. Right as I sat down I looked around for the girls. The first person that caught my attention was Taeyeon who was near the front and turned around to me. 

She started to mouth something that I could barely make out. I am pretty sure she asked why I was almost late. I mouthed back to her that I overslept and she simply giggled. 

It seemed like forever until the teacher stopped his lectures and the bell run signaling our next class. Everyone walked out of the class room to get stretched out. I figured this would be a good time to try to talk to Yuri.

Right as I was about to walk out, Hyoyeon caught my attention, "Hanna!" she said while walking up to me, "Where are you going?" she asked. 

"Oh, I was going to go talk to Yuri real quick." I told her. 

"Cool, can I come along? I really don't want to be left in there with the love birds." She pointed over to Taeyeon and Tiffany who were giggling with each other. 

I opened my mouth in an o position, "Sure, I think I'll be needing a witnesser just in case she punches me or something." 

We both started to laugh and headed out the classroom. We went over to the restrooms and checked in there, but not a sign of Yuri anywhere. "Let's go check her class." 

I nodded and followed her to the room that read 'Class 3D'. We took a peek through the window and still no Yuri could be found. What we did see though was Jessica laying her head on her arms a top her desk to sleep. She looks so peaceful just sleeping. "Aish, that Jessica always sleeping." I unconsciously said. 

"What did you say?" asked Hyoyeon. 

"I mean, does Jessica always sleep?" I asked her. 

Hyoyeon peeked at Jessica through the window and let out a sigh, "Aish, unfortunately, yes, she does."
