Sooyoung’s POV

I grabbed the plate of food in front of me and thank the ahjumma getting it for me.

“It’s no problem my dear.” She smiled as I waved her goodbye.

When I was near the table I had previously sat at there was one extra person there. Sica? I walked closer and saw that it really was her. She was wearing a plain pink top with shorts to the middle of her thighs. Though very not out there with her clothing her style always stood out to me for some reason. “There were all out of ice cream.” I pouted setting the plate of food down. Everyone’s heads turned towards me, “What?” I asked them.

“Uh, did you buy the whole stand?” Hyoyeon pointed out.

I looked down at my food. What was she talking about? All I had were some spicy rice cakes, a bowl of ramen noodles, side of kimchi, and a bowl of rice. Yep, I made sure this was my usual plate. Oh, wait, that’s right they didn’t know of Hanna’s food appetite. “Um, I have a big appetite.”

“We can see that,” Tiffany counted how portions I had, “Omo you have enough to feed three people!”

I started to chuckle. Luckily Hanna was quite the eater as well. I wasn’t too sure about how much food her body could handle before gaining some weight. Turned out she was a shikshin as well so I could continue my eating habit without the worry of getting fat. The only downside? I was as short as Tiffany.

“Do you always eat this much?” Taeyeon asked while eyeing my food.

I picked up a pair of chopsticks and started to eat, “Yep,” I slurped up some noodles.

“And you don’t gain any weight?!”

I shook my head still continuing to eat. “Lucky!” They all yelled.

I looked around to everyone laughing and eating when my eyes were drawn to Jessica who was just sitting there.

Seohyun seemed to notice it as well and asked, “Unnie, are you alright?”

She was playing around with her food for a while and didn’t notice Seohyun said anything until she asked again, “Oh, sorry. Yeah, I’m fine just thinking if Yoona is really who we are looking for.”

“I think she will be excellent.” I blurted out. The rest of the girls turned to me with opened eyes, “I mean, from what she’s told me she is really passionate about it.”

“Passion alone won’t cut it though,” Taeyeon replied, “I am hoping she will be able to help.”

Tiffany turned her heads towards me and furrowed her brows. I caught her looking, “What?” I asked.

“You know, through this whole conversation of auditions and stuff,” Oh, great here it comes, “you haven’t said a word about auditioning yourself.” There we go, let’s see what is a good excuse.

Hyoyeon pointed her finger at me, “That is true!” she then stood up, “YOU! I can tell it in your eyes. You dance don’t you!”

I furrowed my brows and was a bit scared at her outburst, “Ah,” I pointed to myself, “Sorry, I have two left feet.”

“Bwoh?” She sat back down and folded her arms together, “Dangit, I thought I would be right.”

Phew, that was close. “Sorry, that I can’t help you guys.”

Tiffany let out a sigh, “It’s all right. You helped us gain our courage back so that’s good enough.” She said as she smiled widely.

“Aha! I got it!” Hyoyeon suddenly let out.

“What?”

She pointed back to my feat then to me, “You must have had some kind of accident so now you can’t dance anymore!”

Seohyun pulled her down from preventing anymore attention to be drawn to us, “Unnie, you are making a scene.

“But, my dancing instincts tell me that she is a dancer!” She complained. “Am I right?”

“Oh man the dancing queen was wrong?!” Taeyeon yelled.

I shook my head, “Ah, I wish you were, but I just don’t dance. Sorry.” We all knew Hyoyeon had that sixth sense for finding other dancers, but I didn’t think she was this good. I didn’t know if she would back off or not. Knowing her, I was pretty sure this wasn’t going to be the last time I would hear of it.

“See unnie? Maybe your instincts were wrong for once.” Seohyun said trying to comfort her.

She played around with her food, “Urg, I guess so.”

During that time I was still eating and by the time I knew it my plate was empty. “Wae!? How’d you finish that so fast!?” Taeyeon yelled pointing to my plate.

“It’s a gift?” I said innocently.

“Oh man, I am jealous now.”

Jessica started to smile a bit. Finally! She still seemed a bit out of it, but it good seeing her at least smile. I didn’t know what was up. I mean one minute she was all comfortable on the FIRST day, but now poof, cold as usual.

The bell rung signaling the next class.

“I guess, I’ll see you guys tomorrow or something.” I said as I stood up.

The other girls waved at me, “See you later!”

I walked towards the stairs heading to my class room when Yuri walked by me and stopped after taking a couple of steps., “It’s you again.”

“Yep, it’s me. Fancy seeing you.” Well, this was awkward. We were the only two people on the stairwell with everyone else still in the lunch room. “You been up at the roof all day?”

She just rolled her eyes, “For the most part, yeah. Problem?”

“I don’t see how the teachers still allow you to be president.” I said to her sternly.

She seemed to get ticked at the comment and rose her voice, “You don’t even know me. So stop talking like you do.”

“I know enough to know that you should just drop this tough act of yours.” That’s it, I was getting really annoyed with her now. Sure she was stubborn, but there’s a limit to how stubborn one can be and she clearly crossed that line.

She turned around right about the same time I did and took a step forward, “What act?”, she asked with a smirk.

I looked at her eyes and saw how the old Yuri was still there, but seemed to be clouded away with this new attitude of hers, “That act you are trying to put up to protect yourself.”

“Tch, whatever.” She started to walk off.

What Yoona sees in this girl I’ll never know. The old Yuri maybe, but crushing on this new one was strange to me. I continued walking up when I noticed the group with Taemin, Hara, and Sunny.

“Why don’t you just talk to her?” Hara asked him.

Maybe I can just eavesdrop a little. I stayed in the stairwell and continued listening to the ongoing conversation.

Taemin:“Well, Hara, for one she hates me. For two, isn’t number one a good enough reason?!”

Hara:“Yeah, but she just dislikes you because you are really cocky.”

Taemin:“No I am not!”

Sunny:“We all know it.”

Taemin:“I can’t help it!”

Hara:“I’m sure if you start being a bit more sympathetic she will start to like your company more.”

Taemin:“I tried to!”

Hara:“Telling her to leave it to you isn’t being sympathetic.”

Sunny:“Girls are tougher then you think.”

Taemin:“I thought I was being a gentleman!”

Hmm wonder who they are talking about..

Sunny:”If you want Jessica to like you then you need to stop making her mad! Plus, making that new girl who was obviously her mad wasn’t helping anything either.”

Taemin:“Hey, it was her fault first!”

Sunny:“Whatever, weren’t you two really good friends in the first place?”

Taemin:“Yeah, but then the whole competition thing took up too much of our time and we just stopped hanging out.”

Hara:“Well, there’s your first thing to talk about. Let her know you miss hanging out with her.”

I heard their footsteps walking away to the classroom so I decided to just walk up casually. By the time I was up there only a few of the students were walking around. So, Taemin likes Jessica hmm? Last I remembered of Taemin was that he was the guy who would always hang around Yuri, Jessica, and I. We were really great friends until the competition thing came up. I guess he was right about that. Jessica was really good friends with him, and I had always thought she had some kind of sweet spot for him. As much as I hated to say it, but maybe he could help her to be herself again. Who was I, someone who was dead, have a right to make her happy? I really wish I had told her of my feelings before everything happened, but guess fate didn’t allow it.

I saw Yoona walk out of her classroom and walked towards her. She turned around to me and ran up to me. “Unnie! I have a huge favor to ask you.” She took both my hands and looked down to me. What the heck this is so weird

“What is it?” I asked while looking slightly up to her.

“Can you please come with me to audition?” She released my hands and put them in a praying position in front of her face, “I am really nervous talking to them so I was hoping you could come with me.”

I let out a sigh and placed my hand on her shoulder, “Of course I can.”

“Thank you!” She gave me a tight hug squeeze then released when I let out a grunt, “Sorry, but I will see you after school okay!”

I nodded to her as she ran downstairs, “Yah be careful!” I started laughing to myself. Aish, she is so hyperactive.

Yuri’s POV

What the heck is up with that girl. I’m getting sick of her comments. “Grr.” I grumbled to myself. No one heard me since there were only a few students in the hallway. I turned the corner when I heard someone running and decided to take a look. Next thing I knew I was on the ground with a girl in front of me as well, “Ouch”

“I’m so sorry!” She yelled while trying to get up. Her voice seemed distressed and nervous at the same time. Aish, this is the second time today.

I looked up and was about glare at the girl, but when I saw her doe-eyed looks I paused for a moment to admire her, “It’s okay.”

She held out her hand for me to get up. When I reached for it I felt a sense of electricity surge through me like never before, “Omo! I’m so sorry again Yuri-ssi!”

“Aigoo, this is the second time meeting you like this.” I said while rubbing my butt. “Well, like the first time, it’s fine.”

She bowed to me. What’s with this girl? I told her it was fine. Oh man, she looks so cute though apologizing! “Oh, okay. I’ll be careful next time.”

“Okay you do that. By the way, you seem to know my name, but I don’t know yours.” I asked her.

“M-my name is Im Yoona. You are really known around here Yuri-ssi.” She said to me while hiding her face.

Was she blushing? “Im Yoona? Ah, I’ve actually heard of you before.” I remembered last year our school held a drama and I could faintly remember Im Yoona being mentioned.

“You have?!” She exclaimed.

“Yes, you are the great actress of the school correct?” I asked her.

She looked down and swatted her hand in the air, “Omo, no, no, I’m just a member of the Drama Club.”

I held her hand, “No need to be humble. It’s great to meet you Im Yoona.”

“M-m-me too! I have to get to class now. Bye!” My grip on her released as she ran away with a faint blush on her face.

Im Yoona huh?
Wah? Yoona auditions at last in the next chapter? NO WAYYYYY
