Between The Lines

Sooyoung’s POV

Aish, why is class so freaking boring! I thought to myself. I was looking outside the window trying to be distracted from the teacher’s lectures at least until the bell rung. It felt like hours had gone by when in reality we still had at least 10 minutes of class left. 

“That concludes this hour’s lectures. Now everyone is dismissed for lunch.” The teacher said to us.

I stood up from my seat and looked out the window, “What the?” Right outside stood that ahjussi Kim Je-dong. I started to gather my stuff when Taeyeon called for me. 

“Are you going to lunch?” She asked across the room. 

I looked up and responded , “Yeah, you guys?” 

“We got to go get stuff for auditions.” She told me

I got up and walked over to Taeyeon and Tiffany who was next to her, “Oh, that’s right! Good luck with that” I said. 

Tiffany looked at my face and suddenly touched my face, “What happened?” 

“Miss Yuri decided to slap me.” I said with a chuckle. 

“Ouch, it must still hurt.” Tiffany said in concern. She looked over to Taeyeon who was just looking down at the ground. “Well, see you later then!” They waved goodbye and headed towards the computer lab.

Those two love birds are still at it. I headed towards the courtyard of the school and started to look around, “Yah! Ahjussi where are you?!” I shouted.

“Didn’t I tell you my name is Kim Je-dong?!” A voice finally responded.

“Sorry Mr. Je-dong... What are you doing here?” I asked him.

He fixed his glasses, “Well, I just came by to check on you.” He then looked up at the sky, “So I’m curious.” 

“Hmm?” I hummed.

“What’s with this competition thing anyways?” He asked. 

I eyed him with a smirk, “You are my guardian angel. Shouldn’t you know?” 

“True, but that doesn’t mean I know any of the details.” He said. 

“Well, it’s nothing much.” I began.

((Author’s Note:: So, you know how in shows they do the whole flashback thing but it’s shown like it’s actually that day and it’s no one’s view? Yeah, imagine this as that lol. Anywayyysss back to the story gooo!))

Flashback 

No One’s POV

“I’m so tired!” Sooyoung yelled as she laid on Jessica’s lap.

Jessica wiped a piece of her bang out of Sooyoung’s face, “Aish, you just want to eat don’t you?” 

“It’ not my fault. I need food to regenerate energy!” Sooyoung said smile upwards to Jessica.

“Come on. Just one more practice on our routine.” A short stature girl said. 

“Tae, can’t we just rest a little bit?” A girl said from behind her tapping her shoulder. 

“Not you too Tiffany.” Taeyeon said while turning around to her, “We need to get as much practice in as possible.” 

“Tiffany began shaking her head, “Tae, we have a year to practice. The competition isn’t going anywhere.” 

Taeyeon let out a sigh, “I know, but the more practice we get in the better.” 

“Well, we aren’t going to get anywhere if we are all too exhausted.” Another girl said while stretching, “Besides, where is that Yuri with the drinks?” she asked.
