"A-A-Achooooo!" I sneeze loudly. Ouch, pain in the throat.Well, isn't this just peachy?
I check my alarm clock. 3:45 a.m. I still have about an hour and a half before school. I have a feeling that I'm not going today though.
I close my eyes and fall back into the wonderful world of sleep and dreams.
____
"No! You have to save her! Please I can't live without her!" I scream loudly at the doctors passing by. They all look to their stupid little folders and papers, acting like I wasn't even there. Like robots.I see Casey and run to her. "Casey, help. My mom is gonna die she needs a doctor." She doesn't even look at me.
I run to my mom's room and gasp. She's lying there, twitching. "MOM! Somebody help! Please! Please. She's gonna die."
I collapse to the floor and sob. "Pl-please. She's all I ha-have."
Suddenly loud noises are going on. "BEEP-BEEP-BEEP-BEEP" I look up quickly to see my mom's heart scanner dropping, dropping, dropping. I scream. Nobody comes.
"I hate you all! You are nothing but a bunch of stupid robotic doctors that don't care about human life!"

"AHHH!" I scream, jumping up. Oh, just a dream. Even though it was a dream, I start sobbing uncontrollably. Hershey wakes up immediately and jumps on the bed whining, licking my hands and face."Kiera?! Kiera what's wrong?" My dad comes rushing into the room, his hair a matted mess, well the hair that he has left is a matted mess. He has a robe on and his eyes are crazy.
"I'm ok, dad. Just an awful nightmare." I say, sniffling and petting Hershey's head.
"Wanna talk about it?" My dad asks, rubbing the back of his neck. I pat the space next to me on my bed and he walks over and sits down.
_________
"-And that's why I was crying so hard." I finish, tears spilling out again."Oh honey, I'm so sorry." He pulls me close to his chest and rocks me back and forth. I feel his hand go over to Hershey and he says, "Good job, ol' boy."
"It's ok, dad. Can we go see her sometime?" I ask looking up at him hopefully.
He looks down at me and says, "Well, you sound like a sicky. But we will soon. Stay in bed today and you can go back to school tomorrow. Cameron can get all your schoolwork."
I nod and lay back down, resting my hand on Hershey's head.
My dad kisses my forehead and turns off the light. "Goodnight, Tiger."
"Night dad." I say and give out a long yawn.
I wake up hours later, feeling much better. I had woken up to get some medicine sometime in between my dad coming in and now. It seems to have done its job. I look at my phone. It says I got a text from Alexis.
From: Alex:
Hey, are you feeling any better? Cameron got all your schoolwork.I reply:
