Wind. There was wind pulling at my face. I felt the coldness slap at me. Trying to open my eyes, I quickly gave up on that worthless effort. I couldn't bring myself to move even the slightest inch from where ever I was. The pain suddenly came back to me.
Burning. Every part of my body was engulfed in a sudden flame. I wanted to scream, but something was clamped tightly around my parted lips. My time of dying shouldn't be like this. No one's should. If I wasn't dead, I sure wished I was.
I can't tell you what it felt like to be trapped inside my own body trying to escape an invisible pain. I wanted out, to call a quits to my screwed up life I had been living for the past eighteen years. Where was the off button to my life?
