He was the same as what he was when I last saw him. Only his hair was dirty, his clothes were worn, he had a slight stubble and his eyes had bags underneath them. But, I didn't care. I didn't even care that I was an unhealthy weight, that I was an animal...I just cared that he was here. He was here. He was here.

I don't know who moved first, who ran first, whether we were laughing or crying. All I know was I ran. I ran as fast as I could. I lifted my dress to my waist and ran to him. He ran to me. He ran as fast as he could, holding the sword attached at his hip so it didn't trip him, or hit him with the harsh metal.

He folded his bow across his chest and we met. My arms went around his neck and his around my waist. He spun me around, my dress flinging water all over the place, but I cared not. I just knew he was here.

Our lips, in perfect harmony when we stopped spinning met. His were cold and somewhat dry, and mine were warm and soft. I was always in my best shape emotionally and physically after the first few minutes of changing back into a human.

Our lips were tangled in a moment of passion. His hands stayed at my waist, wrapping around tighter as if to never let me go. My own wrapping around his neck and my fingers tangling into his hair. It was sweaty, sticky and greasy, and I didn't care. This moment, which I would later classify as the best moment of my life.

When we broke apart his head wiggled into my neck, leaving peppered kisses along my neck leaving a chill to break through my body. It reminded me of the kiss we had in the apple orchard when I rescued Brandin from almost falling off a cliff.

Then it hit me. I pushed us apart, slowly and held his hand. Walking towards the land where Antonio and Brandin stood waiting. And under the bush I saw my animal friends watching. "How did you find me?" I asked whoever listened. It wasn't Grant, because he cradled my body towards his. Him standing behind me, and wrapping his arms around my waist.

My father would be disappointed in my actions, but I didn't mind. I loved him, and I missed him, and I was losing hope....I deserved this.

"The necklace." I raised an eyebrow, impolitely might I add. "The necklace? What necklace?" I asked.

Did they get another witch or warlock to help them?!?

"Yours." Brandin replied. Grant finally let go, which I kind of protested, I never wanted to let him go. "Mine?" I asked. Grant removed my swan necklace he gave to me all those years ago. "How did this help?" Grant sighed and laid his head on my shoulder, mumbling the answer.

"When I found you in the forest all those years ago, It wasn't luck, it glowed a bright light that led me to you. So we tried it again, with the help of Antonio's magic." When Grant said Antonio had magic I stepped behind him.

"Alivia what are you doing?" Grant said. Pushing me back, but I stayed back.

He was just like his father. It's a trick.

"We can trust him." Grant mumbled. When Grant spoke those words, my trust was placed into his hands. And if he destroyed it again, it would not be forgotten. "Come, now that we have Alivia we can leave." Brandin said grabbing my sore hands from the thorns and I tried not to wince. But I didn't move.

"Brandin, I love the thought, honestly. But I can't leave." Brandin laughed. Then Grant began laughing. But Antonio didn't. He knew....yet he let them find me...What was his plans?

"Nice joke, Alivia. Come on." Brandin said once more grabbing my hand. A little harsher than the first time. "I can't. Don't you see. This lake, and this lake only is my way to become a human! I can't leave until the spell is broken. Until then I am to remain here." I whispered.

But what broke my heart wasn't the statement out loud, it was the look Grant gave me. The disappointment, the heartache he felt. But then it was replaced with love, determination and power. He felt like a King.

"What needs to be done to break the spell. Tell me and I will do it. I would do anything for you Livy." I smiled and felt the love from his kiss on my forehead radiate through my body off in waves.

"You need to make a vow. A vow of everlasting love, in front of the whole world." Antonio answered. "And seal it with a kiss." Grant smiled. "The ball. My mother wants to host a ball tomorrow and have me pick a new women, you can come, and there. I will proclaim my everlasting love to you to everyone there! I will do it Alivia!"

I smiled. "But, Grant. I have nothing fit for a ball." He smiled. "Come early, and I will have the best seamstresses and make-up artists assist you in whatever it is women require. I smiled. "I'll see you as soon as the moon rises."

He smiled and we sealed our promises with a searing kiss. "I love you." He whispered. I smiled and nodded, tears escaping out of my eyes. "I love you too. Now go." He smiled and gave me my necklace once more. And Brandin, Antonio and Grant left in the woods.

I sat down on the ground in the prayer position. And began crying. Then I heard it. Someone clapping.

"Well, well, well! Here I am, about to talk and I see you plotting against me! Oh, no! I will not have this! And with my son!!!!" Rupert's red hair rose into a circular shape around his head, and his cape willowed off the ground, defying gravity. Then his body followed and then he pointed at me and I felt my human self retreat back into the swan position.

What did you do!?

I asked him. He smiled. "I felt like it was Elise's turn to get what she wanted. Just one night Alivia. She deserves that. And you deserve to rot in the dungeons!" And then with another zap I found myself swimming in a pool of water, in a dungeon that must have connected to the moat surrounding the Enchanted Castle.

What have I done.......
