Bill's POV

I don't know how long I was lying in Pine Tree's bed, but it felt like an eternity. I was incredibly bored and I wanted to stay with Arrow again, but she'd just send me back. I played with the fire in my hands, admiring the blue flames in a bored fashion.

That's when I heard voices outside of my door.

"Wha- Dipper!" Shooting Star said in hushed voice.

"Hi?" Pine Tree replied confused, his voice closer to the door than hers.

"Where were you and Bill? I went into your room and both of you were gone." She said angrily.

"Mabel, that was at least an hour ago-"

"I don't care." She interrupted him. "Where were you?"

"Bill escaped my room and he went down to Eleanor's, so I had to go back and retrieve him." I could practically see him rolling his eyes.

"He got out? What did you do, drag him all the way back here?" She sounded unconvinced before she gasped. "No... You took the car didn't you?!"

"Sh! Keep your voice down." Pine Tree hissed.

"You did." She spat. "You know you're too young to drive."

He scoffed. "Mabel, I get my learners permit in a couple months and dad let me test drive his car in parking lots before; I was fine."

"Not with Bill in the same car. You could have crashed." Her tone was harsh.

"Mabel, I can look after myself too, yah know!" He sounded agitated.

Shooting Star sighed. "I'm only saying this stuff because I care about you and I'm worried about you, bro bro." She sighed again. "I'm sorry."

Pine Tree exhaled softly. "It's fine." The door knob twisted and I extinguished the flame before he entered.

The twins stepped in and I laid on his bed, pretending to be asleep.

"God dammit, he's asleep." Pine Tree growled angrily.

Shooting Star crossed her arms. "Well, it's not like we can carry him into the guest room. Wake him up."

Pine Tree clenched his fists and stamped up to me. He grabbed my shoulders and shook me violently. "Wake up!" He whisper-screamed.

I cracked my eye open, pretending to be sleepy. "Talk about a rude awaking, kid."

Pine Tree rolled his eyes and leaned over me. "You need to get up. You can go in the guest room now."

"Aw, but I was finally starting to like your bed." I grumbled just to be stubborn.

"Bill, I swear-"

"Wait." Shooting Star interrupted. "How did you get new clothes?"

Pine Tree and I both looked at my blue flannel shirt and jeans and I clenched my jaw. His eyes widened. "Yeah...how did you?" He asked.

"Eleanor lent them to me from her dad..." I crossed my arms and continued to lay on his bed.

"Why?" Shooting Star sounded mildly angry.

"Because there was blood all over the others 'cause I got hit by a car."

They both gasped and Shooting Star looked mortified. "Oh my- are you alright?!"

I gave them confused looks. "Uh, yeah, it wasn't that big of a deal. There was just blood everywhere."

The twins exchanged horrified glances.

"And...you got cleaned up?" She asked slowly.

"Yeah, she made me get in the tub and bathed me." I smirked at that last part and saw Pine Tree go white. Shooting Star, on the other hand, turned red.

"She what?!" Shooting Star yanked out her phone and dialed a number on it before holding it to her ear, infuriated.

"Hello?" Arrow's voice came out of the phone.

"Ella, is it true you freaking bathed, Bill?!"

There was a long silence on the other line before she cleared her throat. "I-uh, yeah. He got hit by a car so-"

"So?! You call an ambulance!" Shooting Star screamed furiously. "This guy is dangerous and cannot, what so ever, be trusted!"

She sighed. "I know... I'm sorry. It was just instinct. I let him rest for a little bit before I called you guys."

"You should have called us immediately!" Shooting Star looked panicked and shot me a stinging glare quickly. "You know this guy's trouble. I just want all my friends and family safe."

Arrow sighed again. "I can see that. I'm sorry, I'll be more careful."

Shooting Star nodded. "Alright, be safe." She ended the call and turned to me. "There. It's all ok now."

I felt my skin starting to burn. "All ok?! I want to be friends with you guys and you keep on misjudging me!"

Shooting Star held my stare. "I don't care! I wanted to as well, but you need to prove yourself first!"

"You have no idea how important Eleanor is to me! You don't realize what you're doing!" I stood up and met her glare levelly. "You are messing with the wrong guy."

She crossed her arms. "I'm looking out for my family."

"But you don't care about others." I spat. "No matter how much you pretend, you have favorites." I took in deep breathes. "And you know you don't want me as an enemy." I could see Pine Tree slowly backing away from us.

Shooting Star swallowed before closing her eyes, taking a deep breath and exhaling. "You're right. I'll try to be friends with you." She opened her eyes and forced a cheerful smile on her face. "How about tomorrow we go somewhere fun to hang out. The park. It'll be great."

I looked over my shoulder to Pine Tree and he flinched back. "Fine." I needed to get Pine Tree on my side for my plans anyways.

Shooting Star nodded with forced happiness and I stalked out of the room to the guest one. "We'll wake you up tomorrow when we're leaving." She whispered.

I walked into the room, alone again, and closed the door. "Yeah...whatever."
