I open my eyes to be blinded by the streaming light coming in from my window. I groan and turn to face the wall, folding the pillow over my head. Flashbacks from the night before flood my mind. The kiss. What was that anyway? He said he didn't like me when we were at the mall, but he wanted to kiss me last night...
Right at that moment, I have an epiphany.
Lindy, you are the biggest idiot on Earth.

I walk to the front porch of Luhan's house right as he opens the door to greet me. We had instead opted to practice at his house rather than driving out to the studio as I had called to cancel in the morning.
"Hey Lindy!" he cheers with a wide smile.
I give him a half smile. "Hey."
I walk into his house, quickly recognizing the white living room with photos of his younger self and a classy and elegantly decorated room. It's a shame that he's usually the only one home. We continue through an arch and down a long hallway to his dance studio which I once again question why he puts a lock on the door if he's the only one who would ever use it.
"Are you ready?" he asks, walking over to the stereo.
"I think so... Do you remember what we did last night?"
He pauses with the CD in his hand and turns to look at me, narrowing his eyes.
Did I say something wrong? But suddenly, I remember last night. That damn kiss.
My eyes widen. "The routine!" I quickly say. "The routine we free styled last night. Do you remember it?"
He blinks and chuckles. "Oh, of course. The routine... How silly of me." He quickly turns and continues fiddling with the stereo.
"Silly of you?" I ask in confusion.
"Hm? Oh, nothing," he says, keeping his back facing me.
He pushes several buttons on the stereo before turning around and walking to his position next to me. When the music starts, we begin our routine, executing swift and fluid movements complimenting the other's. As if we had been practicing for weeks, we complete our routine from the night before. But this time, with more precision.
We recognize the last few measures of the song as he quickly grabs my hand and spins me into his chest, marking the last movement. Breathing hard, I remain facing his chest, my hands resting on his shoulders.
I scoff. "Did you know we were capable of that?"
"Nope. But I'm glad we are."
"Yeah..." I whisper, trying to catch my breath.
We remain silent, holding each other in the same position as the music changes to EXO's "Don't Go."
"It's like I can predict your next movement..." he says, breaking the silence.
I tilt my head up, realizing my face is less than an inch away from his and quickly pull away from his hold on my waist. His eyes widen in surprise, but quickly change to an expression of disappointment.
I turn my gaze down. "I...Sorry..." I stutter.
He doesn't say anything and instead walks over the small refrigerator to take out two bottle of water. He goes over to the small black couch in the corner and gently pats the empty spot for me to come sit down. I stare at him for a moment before reluctantly going over to sit next to him.
He hands me a bottle and we take several sips of the refreshing liquid. I avoid directly looking at him, distracting myself with the pattern of the wood floor.
"Would you date Kai?"
I jump at the question and look up at Luhan in confusion.
"What?"
He slowly turns his head towards the ground, glancing up at me several times.
"Yeah... Would you date him?"
"Why do you want to know?"
"Just answer the question."
I continue tracing the floor pattern with my eyes. Would I date Kai? He's gorgeous, probably every bit as gorgeous as Luhan is. But would I date him? If I had to choose between him and Luhan, it would definitely be Luhan. No doubt about it.
I turn to look at him. "No, why?"
He smiles. "Okay. Your turn."
I crease my eyebrows. My turn?
He chuckles at my confusion. "Ask me a question."
"Oh." I say, looking around the room trying to think of something to ask.
"Umm, what's your ideal type?"
"No, it has to be a hypothetical situation. It has to involve 'would.'"
I glare at him. He's including rules now, huh?
I huff in frustration. "Fine. Would you... date Yuri?"
He looks at me with a smirk. "You're copying my question. But no, I wouldn't."
Well, that's one less girl.
He sits and thinks for a moment before asking me another question.
"Would you go to dinner with me again?"
Unfortunately, my mouth reacts quicker than my brain.
"Yes!" I blurt out.
I quickly look away in embarrassment, letting my hair fall in front of my face to shield my hot cheeks.
"Really? So would you go tonight?" he asks.
I turn and smirk at him. "I think it's my turn."
His facial expression turns from hopeful to disbelief before he scoffs at me. "Fine, what's your question?"
"Why would you tell other people you're dating someone if you're not?"
His body tenses. "You can't ask that."
"Why not? It includes 'would' doesn't it?"
He stares at the ground before looking back up at me. "To keep her for myself."
"Oh.." I quietly remark. "But why would you need to--"
"My turn!" he says, interrupting me with a smirk.
"I call the end of the game right here," he says.
My mouth drops. "What?! But I--"
"In all seriousness, will you go to dinner with me tonight?"
Again, my mouth works faster than my brain.
"Yes, definitely."
