Desire of the Heart
Chapter Two-
"I don't think I caught your name. I'm Ryan by the way."
"Sorry, I'm Mollie."
"What a beautiful name." He grinned shyly at me, I could already feel the blush rising in my cheeks, and I hoped it was hidden by the darkness.
"Thanks." I smiled looking down at the floor.
"You look really cute when you blush by the way." He laughed, lifting my chin so he could look in my eyes.
"Not really." I murmed looking away. "Do you want a drink? Its my round."
"I'll be a gentleman and get them again. Can't have a pretty lady wasting her money on drinks now can we." He smiled cockily.
He came back with four shot glasses and two glasses of clear liquid, which was either water or vodka. "Ready?" He smirked, obviously not thinking I was up to the challenge. I nodded seriously at him and threw back the shot as quickly as possible. My throat burned horribly and I wanted to gag, a low moan escaped my throat, despite my efforts to keep it in."
"What was that?"
"An Amaretto Sourball." He laughed, tossing it back and reacting in the same way as me.
I did the other one as quick as possible and wretched. As soon as I'd swallowed it I found myself on my hands and knees on the floor throwing up. I hadn't even had that much to drink, granted Tess, Freddie and I had some Rum and Coke on the way here and then Tess and I had a little welcome back drink, but still, not enough to make me heave.
"What the hell was that?" I snarled at him.
"That was a Flaming Blue Jesus." He laughed, not making any attempt to drink his after seeing my reaction. "I blew out the flames before coming out here. Want some water?" He passed me a glass, and I drink from it greedily, eager to get the acidic taste of sick out of my mouth.
"Thanks."
“Don’t mention it. Are you ok now?” I nodded.
“Good.” He whispered as he leant down to kiss me. I couldn’t believe he just watched me throw up and wants to kiss me. He closed the distance softly pressing his lips to mine. He ran his tongue across my bottom lip and I parted my lips slowly, teasing him. His warm tongue found mine and won in a fight for domination. As soon as he sensed I needed to draw breath he stopped and pulled away. “Sick has never tasted so good.” He smirked at me. I covered my mouth instantaneously.
“Sorry.”
“Don’t worry about it; I wanted to do that since I first saw you. I just didn’t think you’d throw up first. That’s such a cute blush Mollie.”
“Thanks.”
“Can I kiss you again?” I leant in and fiercely pressed my lips to his as an answer. He automatically asked for entrance and I parted my lips as quickly as possible, I could feel the sparks from his touch run up my spine from where his hands were on my hips, pulling me closer. I trailed my hands up his neck and tangled my hands in his hair. I heard him moan in the back of his throat. I loved that sound.
BEEEEEEEEEP.
“Damn phone.”
“Answer it then.” He laughed. I opened the text from Tess telling me they were just leaving and would meet me outside.
“I have to go.”
“Are your mates waiting?”
“Yeah.”
“Tell them to go, I’ll drop you back beautiful.”
“Are you sure?”
“Certain.”
“OK then.” I typed out a hurried text to Tess. "Done."
"Let's go then, my cars outside." He smiled excitedly, like a kid in a sweet shop.
"Ok, dude, I know I'm hot but don't get to excited, nothings going down."
"I know." He laughed. "I'm just excited to see my car again."
He got a slap on the backside for that one.
