Chapter Nineteen-
“Tess! I don’t want to go in!” I moaned from under my duvet, as Tess tried to drag me out of bed.
“Mollie, don’t you want to show him you’re ok? That you’re not upset?” She pleaded.
“I don’t want to see him!”
“Come on, you can be first in the shower, and I’ll be there the whole time.”
“You’ll let me go in first?” I grinned, climbing out of my bed.
“Yeah, course baby girl.”
“See you in half an hour!” I shouted from the bathroom.
“Don’t use all the hot water!” She screamed at me.
After we had showered, got dressed and finished our hair and makeup we were ready to go to breakfast. Tess had straightened my hair and put it into a high ponytail with a little quiff. She tied her hair into a side plait, and we both had light natural makeup. We grabbed our Hermes bags and headed down to breakfast.
“Morning guys.” I smiled as I sat down between Freddie and Dylan. Tess took a seat opposite me, and immediately locked lips with Harvey.
“Morning Mollie, want to go grab some grub?” Dylan smiled.
“I’m not hungry.” I waved him off. “You’re dates from last night are coming over, I’m going to go. I left my English homework in my dorm.” I got up, glancing at the teacher’s table. At least he wasn’t here, if he was I’d probably burst into tears. I’m dreading fourth period. I walked calmly out the dinning hall and up to the common room, trying to avoid any complications. Unfortunately luck wasn’t on my side, and I walked into the very complication I was avoiding.
“Mr King.” I glared out the window, avoiding his gaze.
“Mollie, we need to talk.” He whispered, after checking to see if anyone was around, unlucky for me, everyone had gone to breakfast.
“About what?” I remarked harshly.
“About us. I never meant anything I said, I know you can look after Marnie, you’re are the best big sister she could ever need. You’re also the best friend, and most importantly girlfriend ever.”
“You may not have meant it but you still said it, you may have been caught up in the moment, or maybe you actually thought that, I don’t know. But it still hurt Ryan. Bye.” I smiled sadly and walked away to my dorm. I opened the door and found Tess in there.
“You are the most covetous, avaricious, pleonectic, narcissistic cow I have ever had the misfortune to meet.” She yelled at me.
“Wow, Tess are you ok?” I laughed.
“No, I’ve had to lie to my friends, my boyfriend, my sister, my parents everyone I know just for you. And I’m sick of covering for you, making up lies I can’t keep up with. Just so you can date Ryan.”
“I never said you had to cover for me Tess, and I never asked you to lie for me, lying and not telling are completely different.”
“No Mollie, they’re not. Now if you don’t tell the guys, I am.”
“Tess, there’s nothing to tell. Me and Ryan are done. But you know that because he already told you, I saw you two together on the couch in here. That’s how you knew why I didn’t want to get up, without me telling you.”
