Here you go guys. Chapter Twenty One of my awesome little story. I hope you enjoy!
Lacey <3
I finished my test, and emailed it to him. Just as I was about to leave he called me back.
“Doll wait a minute.”
“What?” I snapped.
“You can’t pretend like I never said it, you can’t pretend we never happened, you can’t pretend you don’t have feelings for me.”
“What do you want me to do then, shout it from the roof of the school that I dated you? Doesn’t really seem like the smartest idea now, does it?”
“No, it’s not. But I’m not asking you to do that, I’m asking you to admit you still have feelings for me, and answer my question.”
“What question?”
“Will you get back with me?”
And that’s when I fainted.
I woke up to find myself in the all too familiar medical suite. “What happened?”
“You fainted, again.” I heard him laugh.
“What are you doing here?”
“Well Miss Hernandez, you fainted, my brother caught you, brought you down here and called us to look after you because he has lessons to teach.”
“Sammy! Benny Boo!”
“Please don’t call us that!” They blushed.
“Aww, I’m sorry. I missed you.”
“We missed you too Chicka.”
“So how’s Elle then?”
“She’s getting married, haven’t you got your invitation?”
“No?”
“Ryan, that son-of-a-bitch.”
“Wait, what?”
“He was meant to give you your invitation. She wants you to be a bridesmaid.”
Elle and I had really bonded over Christmas, we were into the same kind of things, she taught me to cook amazing Hungarian dishes and she told me embarrassing stories about the boys. She was the older sister I always wanted.
“Really! Are you sure! OhMyGosh!” I screamed.
“Calm down Chicka.”
“Where is she? Take me to her right now! Tell the office I have a doctors appointment or something.”
“Chill. Benny, could you go and get the nurse and ask her if its okay for Molls to leave?”
“On it bro.” He smiled as he legged it out.
“Oi Sammy-Poo go get my bag. The grey Hermes one.”
“What did your last slave die of?” He muttered sarcastically and walked out the room to get the bag. It was then I realised my laptop was missing.
“SHIT!” I shouted to myself. My diary, my homework, my emails, everything was on that laptop. I can’t have lost it.
I grabbed my phone almost immediately and dialled Ryan’s number.
“I’m in a lesson right now, can we talk later?” I heard him whisper down the phone.
“No! This is more important than a lesson! Where the hell is my laptop?” I screamed at him.
“Ah you mean the one with all your details and feelings and thoughts on?”
“Yes! Now stop looking through it and bring it down here now!”
“No can do. It’s in your room.”
“Grrrr!”
“Are we done here?”
“No! Wait! What’s all this about Elle getting married?”
“Ahhh, the guys told you huh?”
“Yeah, why didn’t you?”
“I’ll tell you later ok. I’ll text you.”
“Fine.” And just before I was about to hang up I heard him mutter what sounded like ‘I love you’. I ended the call, and it felt like just hearing him say those three little words had lifted a massive weight off of my shoulders, a weight that I hadn’t even realised was there.
“Okay! You can stop eavesdropping now!”
“Thanks God! I didn’t think I could hold my breath for much longer.” Ben smirked as he sat down on the bed next to me.
“Ow! What was that for?” He yelled.
“You deserved that slap Benjamin.” I smirked back.
“Fine Ok, I guess I did. The nurse said that you’re free to go.” He smiled back at me.
“And I looked like a total idiot carrying your handbag around.” Sam blushed.
“That was the idea Sammy-Poo.” I grinned, climbing out of the metal bed, and strutting out the door to find a cab to take me to Elle.
