Chapter 9

Holly's POV

Lexi's been gone for about an hour. She asked what had she done then ran out of the house. I tried to look for her for about 10 minuets but there was no luck. Now I'm just sitting In Front of the door waiting for her to come back to me. I don't understand what I did, she just ran. I can't even call her because she left her phone here. Come back baby, come back.

I woke up to my mum sitting on my bed with a cup of coffee. I shot up and said "Is she back?" Ma shook her head no and handed me to coffee. Alexis didn't come home last night. And I still don't know where she is. She was naked under that dressing gown so she must've gone home. I downed the coffee then jumped up throwing clothes onto my body and said "I'm going to go find her. I have my phone and I'll be back before dark." Before mum could argue with me I had run out of the house and headed straight to Lexi's house.

Once I reached her house I caught my breath then knocked three times on the door. After a moment or so the door opened to reveal her mother with tired eyes. She looked shocked and said "Miss Hills what are you doing here? Have you been running?" I nodded my head quickly before replying "Is Alexis here ?" A puzzled look struck her face as she said back in a worried tone "No I thought she was staying with you?" A few tears started to fall down my cheeks "She was but your son came to my house yesterday and started to hurt Alexis again-" i was instantly cut off by her mother "What! He's supposed to be at the police station?!" I rested my hand on her shoulder before adding "But I stopped him. I then kicked him out but when I came back upstairs she was flustered and ran out and I haven't seen her since." Her mum started to cry  but said "Thank you." I gave her a small hug and tried to comfort her. After a minuet or so I pulled away and she said "Do you want to come in and have a cup of tea? We can catch up?" I knew she was trying to be nice but I needed to find her. "I'm sorry I would love to but I need to find her. When I do I'll come back and we can have a good catch up." Her mum wiped her eyes then told me to continue looking for her. I thanked her then started to walk away thinking of where she could be.

I had been looking for her for hours by now. No hope. There was only one place left to look and that was Rachel's house. I rang her door bell and waited for a moment until the door opened. Rachel looked at me with confusion before saying "Holly? What are you doing here? Your mum picked up Ally am hour ago?" I stayed silent knowing that Lexi wasn't here and just stared into her eyes. My eyes started stinging, tears threatening to fall as she stepped towards me. She placed her hand on my shoulder and asked softly "Are you okay?" That was it. I burst into tears and sobbed into my hands as she put her arms around me. "She's gone." I croaked as she squeezed me. "What do you mean?" She replied as she pulled me inside her house. "Lexi. She left yesterday and I can't find her anywhere. This was the last place on the list." Rachel pulled away then asked with an odd look "She left?" I nodded in response trying to stop my tears. She placed two hands on the side of my face and pushed me carefully against the wall and pressed her body against mine. "W-what are you doing?" I asked as I tried to get out of her grasp. But I was too late. She leant in and crashed out lips together. I didn't move my lips at first but after a moment I did. I was picturing Alexis not Rachel. Alexis. My girlfriend. I pushed her hard off of me then shouted "No! You're not Alexis! And my sister is in love with you! I need to find my girlfriend..." I turned to the door and ran. I called Ma as I ran and cried down the phone to her "I'm not coming home tonight ma. I'm not coming home until I find her." Ma could hear the fear and heart break in my voice and of course she tried to change my mind "Darling we can keep looking tomorrow, just come home." Before she could say anymore I cried down the line "No. I'm not going to stop until I know she's safe. I love you Ma and Ally too." I hung up then kept on running. I went to all the places I could think she may be. But no hope.

None at all.

It's dark now and all I can hear is the sound of my heart thudding. Ma found me running and pulled me into the car. I got to the house and ran straight upstairs. I need to look at her phone, then go to every single place registered in her phone. I grabbed it then headed to run out of the house again but before I could Ma injected something into me and I blacked out. What the fuck am I gonna do with out her. No you will find her. I love you Alexis. Please be safe. Please.
