Chapter 20

Holly's POV

I woke up to see Lexi had moved. I sat up confused and looked around. I threw on a top and headed downstairs. I stopped at Ally's room to check on them and they were fast asleep in each other's embrace. I smiled then walked on down stairs. I was just about to walk into the lounge when I heard a sniffle. "Ma I'm not good enough for her. It's like she's the queen and I'm the peasant. She deserves better than me. I'm not good enough." I walked in and said firmly "Stop that right now. Don't you say that you are more than good enough I'm the luckiest person alive and if you argue with me I will actually punch you." they both stared in silence as I slowly walked over to Lexi. I crouched down in front of her then said quietly and softly as I took her hands in mine "I love you okay? Please don't say things like that we both know that it's not true. Cmon lets go get changed, we gotta pack our trip away yes?" She nodded and smiled at me lightly. I gave ma a quick kiss on the cheek then lead Lexi upstairs.

We walked into my room and i slid my arms around her waist. I kissed her lips softly and said as I pulled away "Good morning beautiful." She gave me a smile then started to put on some clothes. I copied then we quickly packed a bag. We ran downstairs and explained where we were going to Ma and then left abruptly. We sat in the car and set off. We headed down the dual carriage way towards the Cotswolds. Once we arrived I got out and grabbed our bags. Lexi cane round to my side and slid her hand around my waist and kissed my cheek. I smiled then we walked into the reception. We were welcomed by an open area to which there was multiple corridors. One lead to the spa, another to the pool, another to the Bar and Restaurant and another to the suites. We walked up to the receptionist and I started to speak "Hello, we would like to book a room for the weekend." the lady typed a few things then said "Okay what sort of room would you like? We have a standard room which will have two single beds, the deluxe which has one double and one sofa bed, the classic suite which has a double bed and a lovely bathroom or the lovers option but I don't think you'll be needing that one." Me and Lexi shared a look as she cleared her throat and Alexis said as she held out her credit card "Actually we would like the lovers suite please." She looked at us with shock and turned bright red. She looked down and noticed Lexi's arm around my waist. She started to apologize multiple times but I just put up my hand as Lexi says "Please may we just have our room key" the lady quickly typed something in to the computer and handed us a key along with another card. She spoke up and said "That card is all inclusive so you can do and get anything here you want for free-on the house." We thanked her then walked down the corridor to the suites.

We walked hand in hand until we reached our room suite 9. I kissed her cheek then opened the door. We were welcomed by a massive king size bed covered in rose petals and a bottle of champagne, there was a massive bath and shower and a big tv. There was a small fridge area which was filled to the brim with alcohol and food. I walked around a bit and looked at everything in the room. I turned into the bathroom and grabbed two robes. I threw one at Lexi then started to strip. She soon copied and then sat on the bed. I plopped myself next to her and held her hand as she let out a sigh. I turned her head toward mine abd placed a soft kiss on her lips. She gave me a smile then lay back. I laid next to her and clung onto her waist as i rested my head on her shoulder. She put her arms around me and held me close whilst she kissed my head. After a few minuets of silence, i said quietly "Do you wanna go to the pool?" There was no reply so i looked up to see her fast asleep. I smiled to myself and started to place soft kisses on her neck amd cheeks. She didnt react for a while until she pursed her lips signalling me to kiss them. I giggled then connected our lips. After making out for a while i pulled away and pulled her up. I dug out two bikinis from our bags and told her to get dressed. We did then headed down to the pool eoth our cards.

We entered the pool area then slipped out of our robes. I kissed her cheek then ran to the diving boards. Lexi laughed at me and watched as I reached the top board. I walked to the edge and looked down. I looked over at Lexi who now looked terrified. I looked around checking thst there was no one in the room and shouted down to her "If I can do three front flips before i hit the water you have to do what ever i tell you to do, deal?" She laugjed and shouted back "Deal. But if you cant you have to do whatever i tell you to do." we saluted at each other then i started to prepare myself. I glanced at her then jumped off doing 1...2...3 front flips before hitting the water. I came out of the water and looked at Lexi with her mouth hanging open. I laighed to mysekf then shouted "Get in here" She slipped put her robe and jumped in rhen swam toward me. I jumped on her amd started to kiss her as she caught her balance. She smiled into the kiss and gripped onto my ass as i clung my legs around her waist. She lead us to shallower water and deepened the kiss with more passion. I wrapped my arms around her neck and atarted to grind myself into her. After a while of getting heated i bit her lip and pulled away before whispering huskily into her ear "I think we should come back later to swim." Without hesitation, she lifted me up qnd walked out of the pool grabbing our robes and rushing out the room. She put me down and ran down the hall. Once we reached the suite she scrambled out the key and burst into the room. She dragged me in and shut the door before locking it. She turned her attention to me and dropped the robes as she pulled me toward her by the hips. She roughly pushed me against the wall and started to grab my tits. We jumped down with a scream and tried to cover up best we could. I shouted "The door was locked for a reason!" I looked toward the door and there stood the lady from reception with her jaw hanging. She shut the door quietly and said with a stutter "Im awfully sorry ladies but I've got a package for you Ma'am and was told it was urgent." She held out a small box to Lexi and smiled. Lexi wiped sweat from her brow and walked toward the woman trying to forget she was only wearing bikini bottoms. She took the box from her and started to open it shutting it quickly once she had seen the inside. She put it away in her bag and thanked the receptionist. The woman left swiftly then Lexi sighed and flopped onto the bed. I walked over to her and sat down next to her. I turned to her and opened my mouth about to ask what was in the box but she quickly interjected and said "You'll see soon enough." i sighed and decided not to argue. I got under the covers and turned away from her looking out the window. I could feel Lexi's eyes burning a hole in the back of my head but she didnt move. After a few minuets she got under the covers and slid her arm around my waist. She shuffled up to me pressing her boobs to my back and buried  her face in my neck. I let out a sigh and held her hand. She kissed my cheek then whispered quietly as she ran her fingers through my hair "What are you thinking about?" I thought for a minute or so thinking sboyt what i actually was thinking about. I replied quietly "Whats in the box?" She sighed and said after placing a kiss on my lips "You'll see soon enough okay? I just have to keep it secret for now." I nodded and turned around to face her. She smiled softly as i leant in and started to kiss her passionately. She rolled over so i was on top of her and squeezed my ass as we made out. After a while we decided to go back down to the pool then go to dinner.

Around 9 we came up from dinner and got undressed. We crawled into bed and cuddled up to each other as we watched Bridesmaids. Roughly half way through, Lexi had fallen asleep with me in her arms. I turned off the tv and carefully got up to go to the toilet. She stirred slightly and rolled over onto her side facing away from me. I splashed my face and pulled my hair up. After brushing my teeth i went back into the room. Just as i was about to get back into bed i caught a glimpse of her bag. I could see the box poking out the corner. The next thing i knew, i was bent down, box in hand. I slowly lifted the lid off to see a gold ring with a big diamond in the centre. Holy fuck. Was she going to propose? I quickly shut the box and put it back in her bag. I got back into bed and Wrapped my arms around her tigjtly. She rolled ober and put her arms around me too. She gave me a squeeze and a kiss before asking "Whats up babe?" I kissed her with more emotion than ive ever known. I started to trail my lips down her neck saying "I love you" inbetween kisses. She giggled at me amd pulled my lips back up to meet hers. She caressed my cheek with her thumb as she said softly "I love you too, now are you gonna tell me whats brought all this on?" I glanced over at her bag which she picked up on and saw the box in the middle of her bag. She loosened her grip and said with a frown "Did you look in the box?" i started to worry and didnt know how to reply. She pulled away from me and shook her head. "Why would you do that? Everythings ruined." She looked so upset and it broke my heart. I went to hold her hand but she pulled away and got out of bed. She started to get dressed as she said "Do you have any idea how hard I tried to keep this a secret from you? I even planned it all out to the second. I wanted to make you feel like a princess, you know? Make you realise how in love i am with you, I wanted to give you the best i could. But obviously thats not enough. You dont trust me." I got up and walked over to her getting ready to beg her and explain myself. She stepped back and slipped kn some shoes. She opemed the door and said "Listen I need some space okay. Ill be back in an hour. Dont wait up." She shut the door and off she went. That was it. The love of my life just walked away. I collapsed onto the bed and burst into tears. She's gone.
