Chapter Ten - I Promise ♥

~Justin's P.O.V~

"Justin, it's fine." I hear Emily say as I pace back and forth in her room. "Justin."

"No, it isn't. They hurt you. It's not okay." I reply, looking at her while pacing.

"It is okay, really. Just please, Justin, promise me you won't do anything."

"I can't promise that. It's like saying I don't care about you." I can see her rolling her eyes in the corner of my eye. "Roll your eyes all you want, but I'm not promising such a thing. They mocked you non stop! About things that you love and that you're awesome at, and about your own appearance."

"Justin, seriously, I'm okay. I don't need you to talk to them."

I stop at my pace and sit next to her. "If I am to promise something today, then I promise to always protect you no matter what." She rolls her eyes once again. "I mean it! You're my best friend."

"I thought Ryan was your best friend." She says with a teasing tone.

"You are my best girl-friend." For a moment, I think she's blushing. But that moment passes so fast that I can't be certain. Suddenly, out of nowhere, Emily leans in and kisses me on the cheek. When she leans out, all I want her to do is kiss me again.. Only this time, I want her to kiss me on the lips... I want to know what she tastes like... how it feels to embrace her in a way I never had... how it feels to call her mine...

I feel my cheeks getting hot as I realize I've been staring at her all this time, something that makes her giggle, which makes me feel warmth in my chest.

"C'mon, let's play soccer!" She grabs the ball on her floor and hurries outside, expecting me to follow behind, something that happens after I take a deep breath to cool down.

AHAHAHAHAHAHAHABAHAHAHAHABAN AT LAASSSTTT!!!

I just want you to realize that I wrote this chapter in less than half an hour. I'm so proud!

Needless to say, that is not the chapter I meant to post. The chapter I meant to post is taking forever cuz I have many ideas but don't know how to put them altogether and most of them don't fit for this time of the story, only later on.... Anyway, what I'm saying is, writing is difficult.

AAAAAAAAAnd if some of you don't know, the reason it's taking me much longer than usual to post chapters, is because I joined the army. I hardly have the time or the mind to write. So please excuse me, I'm really, really sorry....

And I see I've lost a major amount of my readers, which actually saddens me, but I deserve it with all the delayed chapters and everything....

Anyway, whoever is still reading, hope you liked the chapter and I love you so much. PLEEEAAAASSSSEEEE get the word back out about the story, I've lost my twitter acc so I got no way to do so myself :(
