Chapter Three - WAKE UP!!!!!!!

Two weeks have passed and Justin still hasn't awoke. I know the doctor said it might take up to a month, but I just can't wait any longer! It's been nearly five months since Justin got into coma. Five months. Do you know how irritating and frustrating it is to wait five months for your most important person in your life to wake up?

"WAKE UP!!!!!!!" I screech in the middle of the room, surprising everyone around me. I grip Justin's bed and shake it as hard and fast as I can. "C'MON!" I add, letting go of the bed and standing up to slap his face when someone grips my hand before I can make contact with his cheek.

"Shhh..." The person that holds me in its arms whispers soothingly. I try to push the person away but they just tighten their grip on me. "Relax, Emily." Jeremy commands as he holds my body tighter.

I slowly stop fighting him and listen to his command, relaxing slowly. "Why can't he wake up already?!" I shout, my voice is muffled by his chest.

"He'll be up soon." I pull away from Jeremy and look at Alfredo. "How soon?! It's been five months since he got here!" I scream at his face, tears pouring down my cheeks.

"The doctor said--" "I don't give a shit about what the doctor said!" I state, cutting Ryan off. "You guys don't get it! He's my boyfriend, my soulmate, my life! He means the world to me! Do you guys have any idea how it feels to watch the reason to your existence in a risk of dying?!"

"Emily!" "What?!" I turn, facing the room. I take a few brief breaths and wipe a few tears that just rolled down my cheeks, quietly realizing that there are two more people that understand where I'm standing and what I feel. Justin's parents feel the same pain, only probably worse since it's their first born son. I don't know what I'm gonna do if I ever lose one or even worse, both of my babies.

"Come here." I walk up to Pattie, on the way letting a few more tears emerge out. "I understand how you feel, but you need to relax. The doctor said it's gonna take some time till he finally wakes up. You gotta be patient."

"Yeah, but--" "No but. How do you think Justin would feel if he saw you reacting that way?" A sob escapes my mouth. She's right. "Be a little patient and you'll see he'll wake up in no time." She wipes my cheeks and smiles. "Go to the restroom and wash your face. Jeremy and the boys will go get something to eat." I nod and walk out of the room, giving apologetic looks to the guys around me.

Walking into the ladies' restroom, I look at myself in the mirror, realizing how bad I look. My mascara is smeared all over my cheeks, there are two black bags under my eyes and don't even get me started on my hair. It looks as if a tornado just came and decided my hair needed a new look.

I take a deep breath and exhale it rapidly before bending down and opening the tap, washing my face with the cold water. If something good doesn't happen here soon, I'm gonna look much, much, much worse.

The door to the restroom gets open and a blonde woman walks in. She shuts the door behind her and leans on the wall beside me while crossing her arms on her chest.

"Hey, sweetie." My mom says with a tired sigh. "I think I owe you a few explanations." I take a paper towel and wipe my face with it. "Is there anywhere we can talk?" I throw the wet paper towel in the trash can and turn around to face my mom. I nod twice and walk out of the restroom, leading her to an empty room. We both sit down on the blue couch right next to the door and I inhale some air.

"I'd like to start with saying I'm sorry I didn't tell you about your family. I'm sorry you had to find out two weeks ago in your grandpa's funeral. I'm sorry I kept it away from you."
